@@chandanv8769 Annie is like everyone else in this show, a traumatised child soldier doing what she can to survive. Its never stated in the show or Manga, but to me it always seemed like Annie emotionally and mentally detaches when she fights and treats it as a game to cope with the guilt and horror shes witnessing and causing. And she might also enjoy the powertrip and rush of being so strong in titanform in comparison to the retricted and caged life she is living as a human. Shes completely mentally fucked, as are most people in this Show^^ It is sort of strange that Armin doesnt hold her in a bit more contempt, but he is just as guilty of mass murder as she is (and way more in quantity and severity, he killed unarmed civillians and children along with Navy personell, while Annie only killed Soldiers who where fighting her and civillians only by Proxy by calling in the pure Titans in Shiganshina, so technically by our modern definitions Armin comitted Warcrimes, while Annie legally fought enemy combatants and was only acessory to warcrimes, lul^^) and he understands her circumstances and why she is the way that she is. Armin has always been very, very empathetic and understanding, to a detriment sometimes, and he is in love with Annie. That does create a sort of blind spot for him when it comes to her. It all makes sense character wise. But i can definetly empathise with you not agreeing with him on that.

Best episode coming next! It's interesting that viewers are willing to extend grace to characters like Reiner and yet not to Zeke, who "will obviously betray" Eldia according to Lia. Like emotionally I get it, but factually you would think that maybe Zeke is truly a friend of Eldia, given that he had the same terrible childhood and Marleyan military pressures as Reiner, has demonstrably kept important secrets from Marley (the fact he has royal blood), and then outright betrayed them in the Liberio battle (although clearly Lia and Molly had not yet seen the post-credit scene from 4-11 in which Marley figures that out). So you might expect that viewers would maybe give Zeke some benefit of the doubt. Anyway, I think we all know by now how this all plays out. Looking forward to the last 18 episodes!

That is totally a fair point, but I think I extend more grace to Reiner because he has shown multiple times that he feels guilty and remorseful for what he has done in the past. Where Zeke has not been shown to be remorseful for his actions and seems take pleasure in killing people (like when he was throwing rocks at the scouts like he was pitching a baseball game LOL). However, I do sympathize with Zeke now after learning about his backstory. - Lia

@@lia_fiore Also totally fair. Zeke showed some anger at Shinganshina at the fact that the Scouts were "pointlessly" charging at him suicidally and blamed the king for erasing their memories. I like to think that maybe he was treating it like a game as a way of coping (dissociating perhaps). But he was pointlessly cruel in the way he allowed Miche to die.
