Native german speaker here. For those who wondered what the choral sung in german in the beginning of the first opening is: The choral sings "Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger" which literally translates to "They are the food and we are the hunters", followed by "Wir sind Jäger" / "We are Hunters" two times. The first line being a rather inelegant choice of words to the ears of a native speaker, as the english translation shows. What they were trying to achieve is, as I think, more like "They are the PREY and we are the hunters", which would be "Sie sind die BEUTE und wir sind die Jäger" in german. On a related note, the protagonists name obviously being a referance to the german word "Jäger", meaning "Hunter". Best regards fellow Attack on Titan fans

Der Titel bezieht sich darauf, dass Eren diesen Abschnitt des Konfliktes selbst begonnen hat und als solchen für sich moralisch vertritt. Insofern handelt es sich um eine Gegenüberstellung des gerechtigkeitsliebenden und friedensuchenden Eren den wir aus den ersten Staffeln kennen, gegenüber dem Eren, der er seit der Berührung mit Historia bei der Ordensverleihung ist. 3. (Und diese Version halte ich für am wahrscheinlichsten:) Der Titel ist aus der Sicht aller Hauptcharaktere geschrieben und verdeutlicht Erens Gesinnungswandel seit der Berührung Historias bei der Ordensverleihung, und was er für alle Teilhabenden bedeutet. In dem surrealen Gespräch mit Armin gesteht Eren, dass Freiheit seiner Meinung nach (nurnoch) darin bestünde, seinen Kampf, und seine Motive für diesen, selber wählen zu können. Can’t believe this show is over, after 11 years. Attack on Titan was the greatest show I’ve ever seen, the plot was so consistent, because it was amazing all the way until the end.

I think it's because not all the shifters of the beast's look like a monkey, all beast titan looks a bit different, based on the shifter's personality. So the different animals are ig earlier form's of the beast titan.

Red Swan is so underrated. It's the last part of the story before the world is blown open by the revelation in the cellar and it has a sad, nostalgic sound to it. It doesn't need to be as fast paced as the others because the arc (which is my favorite) puts a lot of focus on the backstories of several characters and there's not as much titan slaying action.

And it stands for the whole series reaching an end. It might've been less than half my life, but I connected deeply. Honestly I think aot peaked at season 3, it was amazing, both parts, it serves as the penultimate part of the series perfectly, not to say the other seasons are bad, they are all amazing but season 3 is just slightly above the rest for me, it wraps up basically everything from the original series, the final season just feels like a natural conclusion to the story to me.
