@@anonymixx8106 it’s interesting. Sjors still has protective instincts but isn’t « obnoxious » . We once had a gelding at a stable who was « cut proud » as they say. Whenever mares were in heat he went crazy and wanted to breed them all…

In my "Home town" of Adelaide, South Australia, as a kid, the whole city's horse regiment consisted of "police greys".....they were a popular and beautiful sight at police involved parades.. ..and doing routine street work( walking their Beat) as well as crowd control.....Have always admired Grey's!! Me too, I think he looks to be in great shape for his age. I hope he's getting pain med. & Condroitin/Glucosamine for his joints. He's much less stiff than when he first started getting filmed. Does his owner still (lightly) ride him? @@mdee860 Yes Pake Sjor’s does still get ridden and he does really well he’s been out on a few rides with Waloubet and Myrthe with Elianne riding him and yes,all his needs being an older gentleman(joints,hooves,etc)are being monitored and closely managed by Elianne and his owner who are in regular contact whenever necessary with her sometimes stopping by to check in on him so no need to worry he’s in great hands Shannon Moderator.😊🌟🐎

I was wondering about the joint supplement because he looks SO much better than one of the 1st videos when I saw him going to lay down in the sun ( in the outdoor paddock) & he looked stiff in his front knees. Now he looks ( and acts) like a teenager! 😁 Putting him out with the mares & foals has added years to his life! He now has a job that he takes very seriously & he looks so happy. I've always thought he was stunning. As to the riding, I've never seen a video of him being ridden & wasn't sure if he was still OK to ride. Happy to hear all the good news, thanks!!!

Sjors takes his herd job very seriously. He is alert and mindful of what is going on around him and works to keep himself between Waloubet and the herd. I wonder if he ever had off spring before he was gelded? They must be amazing horses. It's fun to see even Queen Uniek follow his orders. Poor beautiful Waloubet doesn't seem to have any horse allies at Stal G. Did you mention she is in foal, also?Waloubet playing with Myrtle was so fun. I just love watching the horses being horses.

It makes me sad that Waloubet can't be part of the herd. That belonging is so important to the other horses. And she is clearly delighted to have someone play with her! What fun to see her interacting with her hooman Myrthe. They seem to have a lovely bond. Even Sjors is so happy to be part of the herd. Waloubet is well cared for and although I don’t know her full history or why she’s alone (Yvonne mentioned she was kind of a loner)I do know that all at Stal G don’t do anything specific with the horses that is unusual without a valid reason and this also extends to Myrthe so for Waloubet to be on her own ther is likely a good reason for it. Myrthe spends a lot of time with her riding and doing other things so they have a very strong bond and that is also very important Shannon Moderator.

Watching my nephew Pake Sjor’s move takes my breath away he is one majestic firecracker utterly devoted to his ladies and grand foals he makes my heart soar I love him so much. The end of the video had me smiling Waloubet may not always be comfortable around other horses but it’s clear she loves her girl Myrthe enjoying their little game of chase that’s one happy girl who has a strong bond with her human it’s so sweet and fun to watch them together. Horses are such beautiful creatures who have so much to share with us if you earn their trust you’ll have their heart forever I only hope someday I’ll have that same privilege with a horse of my own.💖💖🥰🥰

I’ve never had the honor of having one to call my own yet horses have found their way into my heat from the time I can remember one day the very first movies I saw when I was 8 was the 2006 movie Flicka it totally captivated me(I still love it and even though I’m almost 24 I still like to go back and watch it)and that was it I fell in love since then I’ve read as many horses books as I can both fiction and nonfiction I just wanted to learn as much as I can about these special beings as possible.🥰🥰

So cute and sweet with Waloubet playing with her owner. That brings lovely memories of my childhood back. Long time ago, there were these two foals which stood behind the house of my aunt and uncle. I've visited them as often as I could and was allowed to. They loved to play like Waloubet does. We ran around together in the meadow and have had fun together. It was such a great time and I do smile every time I'm remembering these special memories. And I had to smile instantly as I saw Waloubet and Myrthe... 😍🤩🐎 It's a little bit pity, that Waloubet couldn't be with the other horses in the meadow. But you've tried it before and it went not as good as all have hoped of. Sometimes it doesn't work for all horses. 🐎🍁

Sjors is so beautiful and RS will grow up to look just like him! I lost count of how many times I rewound to watch Waloubet play!! She was having so much fun!! She's also really beautiful!

Waloubet playing with her owner was so much fun!!! They have an amazing bond! Very special. And waiting to hear about Uniek! She is an outstanding mom! And some excitement with a hot air balloon. There’s always something new or different to keep everybody alert. Although horses will invent/find something if they need to. Alert=survival. . ❤️
