The big fight of this episode has such a cool passive mechanic. Monty is the DM I look to as I’m learning to DM myself and damn that’s some good game design. Edit: one shots????? YO. HYPE.

That music at the end was unnerving and that entire boss fight is the most stressful 3 am I've had in a while. Only a few more left to go.

I love how as the fight goes on, the rolls slowly get more and more into the party's favor, as if they slowly gain confidence and Icarus loses confidence.

So in regards to the One-Offs after this, I found myself having a better experience watching the lower level players first and then going up by level per each one-off. Ex. I first watched "Pick a God and Pray", then "Holey Wars" etc., til it went up to one of the higher leveled one-offs. This is just a preference in terms of watching players fighting enemies/situations with increasing difficulty for each one-off.

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 27:00 : 6d10 would be the appropriate dice to roll here, not 10d6. 27:15 : Greckles only rolls 6d6 rather than either 6d10 or 10d6. 48:25 : Remy should’ve had advantage on the Dexterity saving throw as he had taken the dodge action. 48:40 : Remy should’ve made a Concentration check for Shield of Faith. 51:45 : Uncanny dodge would be able to halve all of the damage that's part of the attack, even if they come from different “sources”. 53:20 : Task should’ve made a Concentration check for Hunter's Mark. 58:38, 1:15:40 : You can only change the target of Hunter’s Mark if the previous target is at 0 hit points. 1:14:55 : The additional action granted by Haste cannot be used to cast a spell. 1:19:50 : The save DC of a spell scroll is determined by its level, so a 2nd level spell would have a DC of 13. 1:41:30 : The 34 points of slashing and radiant damage that took place before the psychic damage occurred would still add to the DC of the concentration check, bringing it up to DC 34. 2:19:19 :Because Panic had taken 37 damage at once, the DC for the concentration check would’ve been 18. 2:21:36 : Gift of the Chromatic Dragon adds an extra d4 of acid, cold, fire, lightning or poison damage to your attacks, it does not change the attack’s damage type. So Task should’ve dealt an extra 2d4 damage, one for each attack. Also, we learn which feat Remus has taken. Because we see him cast Shield of Faith, which isn’t on the wizard spell list, he must have taken the Magic Initiate feat for cleric. That means he knows two additional cleric cantrips, of which I can only speculate as to what they are.
