Holy smokes....these Canada boys are QUICK!! Did a 53.07 and looked like he wasnt even trying! Car looked super stable and never got squirrelly once. Congrats to those guys.

Proud of my fellow Canadians. Our scene in Ontario is filled with quality built drift and time attack cars that go abroad and win often. But our scene is highly under rated compared to the states.

If he stayed there a bit longer i bet he would hit 52sec easily. The JDMYard car did 54.9 with massive traction issues and they estimated a time of high 52sec would be possible!!! Speed record for back straight was 243kph and Vibrant hit 253kph

Insane...getting an FF car to go under 1min mark on this track was already something quite out of this world...but a low 53sec and potentially 52sec???? Is this alien technology I'm witnessing?!

Sub-60 FF runs at Tsukuba are not as uncommon as you think. Check Shuboxinc's channel for some examples. I think an FK8 did a one minute flat recently.

The two fastest time attackers from North America are Canadian and they both drive FWD Hondas. James Houghton and Will Au Yeung.

Team Canada brought the heat to Japan. Congrats! Was the 53sec run done on A050 or Hoosier R6? I assume it was the Hoosiers. I’m confused what tires the Japanese organizations allow for records these days? That Borg Warner EFR 9280 makes some serious jam
