The $265,000 Clutch Chess International is an 8-player knockout taking place from 6-14 June, 2020, with World Champion Magnus Carlsen the top seed. Each match consists of 12 games, but with the twist that games 5-6 are worth double the points and games 11-12 triple. The "clutch" games have an extra $10,000 at stake in each match, with prizes rolled over if the games end in draws.
The time control is 10 minutes per player for all moves, with a 5 second per move increment from move 1. No draw offers are allowed before move 60. The event is organised by the Saint Louis Chess Club with the games played on lichess. Official website: uschesschamps.com

James Slivka This is always a challenge with the bereaved. Every time that someone offers condolences, the sorrow is refreshed. Levon must go on and there’s no instruction manual for that. He’s running on autopilot right now. The difference is that he has to do healing while being on center stage. Give him strength, please.

So true... And Aronian is a 2773 ELO ranked player! Now we get #1 Carlsen (2872) vs #2 Caruana (2822) again. Magnus is so amazing that today's top-ranked players from #2-7 would all make worthy World Champions in other chess era's (except maybe era's of: Kasparov, Fischer, Tal, Capablanca & Morphy). Fabi would absolutely be a world champ in a different era. Magnus is the *Mozart of Chess* but perhaps we should include *Magnus the Magnificent.*

What a great example of building relentless pressure and not permitting your opponent any counterplay! Interestingly, Stockfish doesn't give white any real advantage until black plays Nc8 on move 22. But it's all downhill from there for black (although Stockfish doesn't like white's Qh5, preferring Qa1).

Same, though it took me a minute to realize how powerful the move was. Didn't seem great until I realized it wasn't a lethal move, but an oppressive move. I really want to get back into Chess

Magnus is indeed a magician. He deserves more credit, respect and appreciation than he has got from the chess world.

Levon is getting totally outclassed by Magnus! Devastating! I feel sorry for that colorful guy.

Hej Antonio!
