Attempting a Rebatch Soap - Will This Be a Disaster?

Today I attempt a rebatch soap, or a soap using scraps from old soaps. Will I be successful or will this be a total dud?

I love the concept but not sure about washing with something that looks like dirt. I think I would still feel dirty.

Yeah, I'd almost need to separate out the different colored shavings to get a better color for the final product. But it was fun to try something different.
