Amazing Vid. Relatable riding and epic effort for the last couple of years :) You should feel very proud! Those jumps terrify me….. Legend 🎉

Gallant effort! I’ve ever gotten those last biggys! Once one cases the first it has a knock on effect for the last few. By the way, these jumps are gargantuan towards the end if no one has ever been! On board camera never really picks up how blinkin fast you are pacing to get those last ones! Like you Kara, I’ll have em by the end of the year…if my hardtail and 55yo knees will allow! Thanks again Kara (and Tom) for what I call real world riding. Most of us are not pros, some of us are not young, But we ALL do this for fun and soul food! Kara and her progress are leading real life people into their own goals….and we thank you for it…and as someone who has met them a few times…they are both utter sweethearts

Great you came back to do those jumps again, such a shame the ground is soft which doesn't help and Tom also said its soft, so when the ground has dried out I'm sure your flaw it Karen 😊👏👏

You don't seem to be putting much effort into pedaling between jumps. An extra pedal or two is what you will have to do.

Great effort 👌 Those last few I have only cleared well in the dry, did it in the damp and had to pedal so hard 😅

She’s deleting comments that have anything to do with improving technique rather than relying on speed. Shame because I think it’s part of the journey she’s on & should be open to constructive criticism. There was certainly nothing nasty said at all, quite the opposite

Thing is if she's deleting comments with tips it prevents other people potentially learning too.

Well done Kara. Amazing to see the levelling up. Can you recommend any bike parks (possible midlands, but happy to travel) that are good for starting to learn jumps at?
@Ph0e927 күн бұрын
Sorry for jumping in but I *think* Kara has only rode Cannock Chase as far as the Midlands goes. As a local to the chase I can tell you there's really not much here for learning jumps, but nearby, there's Hilltop bike park (sandwell valley, west brom), Burlish bike park (stourport-on-severn) and Newbold Comyn (Leamington spa) to name a few :)

@ thanks so much for this, ill check them out. I’m Derbyshire way but have visited Cannock quite a few times and you are right not much there to practice jumps.

I think you did a great job there Kara and you kept yourself safe to come back and conquer those jumps in the dry. Nice one 😎 👍. Even Tom was saying it was soft in that area and if he's saying that, you're probably doing way better than you think.
