We have finally made it to the north of Vietnam, where we will be doing something that we have have always dreamt of doing, the Ha Giang Loop. Before even starting youtube, we always had the Ha Giang Loop on our bucketlist and to think that we actually did it, IS WILD!
One thing we did not plan for, was doing the loop anti-clockwise. As soon as we arrived in Ha Giang, we were told that the police presense is quite hectic and that riding our own scooter is not advised, and that we should rather take an easy rider. An easy rider is where a local takes you on his scooter around the loop so that you do not have to worry about the police stopping you and potentially taking your bike away. However, we have always wanted to do this loop ourselves and because most people do it clockwise, we were suggest that we do it anti-clockwise to avoid police if we were going to be riding the scooter ourselves. So thats what we did.
We were also not doing this alone. ‪@ShevandDev‬ will be joining us :) Since meeting them in Malaysia, We got on like a house on fire and we said that we should do the Ha Giang Loop together, but not really thinking that it would happen. Somehow, the stars aligned and we happened to both be in the North of Vietnam at the same time and decided that the Ha Giang Loop is a must and doing it with friends would be the best way to do it :)

Watching your Ha Giang Loop trip videos makes me nervous and unable to take my eyes off the screen, like watching a Hollywood action movie? I was afraid that something would happen to you guys like falling off your bike or running out of gas or your bike breaking down on the road in the middle of the mountains and forests of northern Vietnam. But it all passed and ended wonderfully. The natural beauty is truly majestic and poetic. That's something that doesn't happen every day in your life and your travels around the world. Creators may go to India for the views, because there are over a billion Indians in the world and many speak English unlike other smaller countries in SE Asia. However, that doesn't mean the experience there is pleasant. Too many men whom like to grab/grope/molest the women, not as safe, really dirty, etc. Shev didn't have a positive there (said she's still traumatized) and said she will never go back...and she's ethnically Indian.

Hahahaha we only travel with what we need and already planned what to wear over the days to insure we didn’t over pack❤️ but we also used the space under our seat to pack a bit more. Sometimes it’s hard to be minimalistic but you get used to it after a while 😊 But if it was up to me (Leanne) I would have brought an entire suitcase too 😂
