Video Game Boss Battle Themes. Boss Battle themes are some of my favorite themes out there. The energy behind them makes it feel worth to get as far as you did. That feeling doesn't always have to come from energetic boss battle themes either. Slow tracks and emotionally heavy tracks also do a good job of conveying how far you've come and the sets you up for the dangers before you. Boss battle themes are some of my biggest inspirations when it comes to writing my own music, and I've written many of my own as a result. Here’s a suggestion that I haven’t seen many people try: a marching/military theme for the bad guys. For some reason, that style of music hasn’t been very relevant as of late, and it’d be cool to see how you approach it with your specific soundfonts and skillset. :)

You're in luck cuz I have some tips. When your trying to compose music usually the first thing that you want to start developing is the base. Record yourself singing the notes that you think works best, and trace that recording onto any bass instrument. After you feel like your base is complete, then you can start developing the theme of the song around that base. I hope that helps.
