I must really be an old head. I was in high school when the College Dropout came out. And I just don't think he music has sounded unique or all that inspiring since TLOP. The production just sounds mediocre to me, in comparison to his older stuff. I will still give it a listen, but nothing really grabbed my attention. Kanye seems to be following trends and making collabs than he is setting the trends like he used to. It still shows here and there, but not enough for an album. It just sounds like trap inspired music that SO many artists are doing today. I prefer the more experimental Kanye, and lately his albums since TLOP have seemed way more dialed in. You never knew what a Kanye album was going to sound like, and now its almost too predictable.

Anyway, I love the albums- ye, yandhi and kids see ghosts.. And i like a few tracks off JIK and DONDA. But I really dont feel his shit the way I used to. But im always willing to give his music a chance. If you never tried to get into the kids see ghosts album, i highly recommend it
