This gave me the key I needed. Thank you. Family tragedy back to back has made me pay attention to nonstop crap. My attention has been flowing to the opposite of what I want out of life. The squeaky wheel gets the oil while my own personal machine has gone down through lack of attention. In my mind o had no choice, but maybe the fact is we always have a choice. Just guilt was worse then letting my life go... or so I thought. Thanks for this. This is a pivotal moment in my life. Thank you. My inner world used to get more attention than the outer and life was a breeze and nothing bothered me even when things went wrong. Now everything knocks me from my center.

In the terms used by Carlos Castaneda, awareness is the process of fitting the outer emanations of the Eagle with the inner emanations within the man's cocoon. When attunement occurs, the inner emanations begin to glow. Castaneda wrote in this way about the glow of awareness. Attention in terms of Castaneda is fixation on specific inner emanations by a person as a result of his accumulation of life experience. We understand that the explanation may seem vague. Good question....very good question. I've just recently stumbled on 'deep awareness', for want of a better term. The best explanation I've conjoured up is the emancipation of my free will, ie. regain free choice from loaded thoughts. I was violently conditioned by others to think as they did.
