Attention to Detail; 300zx + 240sx

This Nissan 300zx project car has come a long way in the past few months. We decide to extend the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust to suit the rear end better. We have our fair share of battling rust, but luckily not too bad, given its age. I finally take the 240sx restoration project out for a spin, after it's been sitting in the garage all year. We finish off with a cut, buff, and polish from the homie Ray!

Actually crazy watching this car literally transform from basically a roller parts car into a show stopper. And on top of that it can get down and smoke some corners, just awesome. If there was anything else it needed I would say some tint and an engine bay makeover, but that's just being nitpicky.

Like he explained. The foam pad is more flat and more conforming. So the wool pad leaves more swirls because each fiber sits a little higher and lower unlike foam. That's what I was taught at least. Wool is for aggressive cutting. Foam is for finishing or less aggressive approach. Foam produces more heat in my experience which can cause burning and drys the compound more so it requires more attention. But definitely a must for a perfect finish.

That's exactly why I now have a tall side wall tire. The roads suck in Illinois 😂. But I too wanted to fit the biggest rim, looks good but I really rub with that side wall so high. Had to hammer in the from wheel wells. 😂❤🎉 and coilovers are set high and stiff and the rear you don't want to hit a bump really rubs and you can smell the tire.

Extendo exhaust tips running E85 should leave the back of the car potentially cleaner, as that fuel has oilly vapers that residue the bumper otherwise. Good work man
