Damn that was a smooth presentation for somewhat complex subject matter! Where are you located? I live in Japan and been hanging out with a GTR OG that tears apart these systems and rebuilds them. The ingenuity used by the Nissan engineers was amazing for that time period!

Nice greetings from Okinawa Japan and I just installed this on my R33 GTR.. Today I'll test it. Also I switched from ALSD TO MECHANICAL. I DID RECORD THE INSTALL AND PROCESS FOR THOSE OUT THERE

@@PhoenixGTR_by_R_Tuned gotta put the video together but went to a drag race event and broke my input shaft so now I'm building the transmission and making it a dog box

Do they have some kind of modes for example gravel mode, asphalt mode etc.
@PhoenixGTR_by_R_Tuned8 ай бұрын
No unfortunately. It’s mainly a rear wheel drive that can send power to the front wheels based on sensors around the car. I’ve literally gotten stuck in a light sandy soil before lol.

@@PhoenixGTR_by_R_Tuned this is only true if you use the original controller. from what I understand. If it's controlled with a MoTeC, you can get response rates in the sub-millisecond range and program your own modes.

@@spdcrzy correct! If you’re using an ecu such as Motec where you can program and build your own output parameters then the only limitations are your imagination and of course what the software platform can handle. Motec is honestly far beyond my knowledge levels when it comes to that level of usage.

@@PhoenixGTR_by_R_Tuned question for you: can an ATTESA controller work with any AWD system and a sequential transaxle? I have an idea for a Pro Touring Camaro build that's been building in my brain over the last 2 years or so...I think you can see where this is going lol.

@@spdcrzy in theory yes. The actuator for the skyline is hydraulic much like a regular clutch system. But it is electrically activated via the computer/ controller. So if you have wheel speed, g sensors etc that will signal the need for the transfer case to be activated then it would work.
