@@equineathart3225 They are using them well. They are keeping the reins loose. You have zero clue. If you have been around horses you have been around jockeys. There is one in every riding school. I think its like a law. They are in every pony club and every jockey club. And if you have been around them you know they are experts at horsemanship and they love horses. Owning a horse means nothing. What worries me is this ....in the REAL world the real equestrian world you would know other horsey people you would know jumpers or hunters or eventers and jockeys or you would know someone married to a jockey or the daughter or a jockey. The last place i went hacking in the guy who took us out on our hacks was an ex jockey. You would see lots of other people riding ...in different styles. How is you are so disconnected from the rest of the equestrian world that you think this is abuse? It's worrying because it kind of leads me to believe you just went out and bought a horse then started commenting online. How could you go through a riding school without using a whip or a crop or a bit it would be impossible? And surely you would realize after an hr lesson the vast majority of riders like 99.9% use them correctly. And its usually people like you who have no schooling (and don't tell me you went through a riding school and think this is incorrect they are riding really really well) IT REALLY SCARES ME PEOPLE LIKE YOU OWN HORSES. Yet you have no connection to any stable or anyone outside yourself who rides. That is dangerous.

You might try letting the RSPCA Vets check out the ponies and riders. Some of these kids are way too big for these ponies. It's shameful!
@lily-is6ir6 жыл бұрын
Kyla Standley well, Shetland ponies are the strongest type of pony, which is great for racing and they could carry twice their weight. So they weigh around 600 pounds maybe? So they can carry heavy weights. Shetlands can handle 70 pound children! :)
@equineathart32256 жыл бұрын
Foxiistarzz AJ they can carry 60 pounds. The kids are big for them. Strong or not, it’s abuse.
@valoranthater4205 жыл бұрын
@@equineathart3225 God, stop arguing a point that isn't true, this isn't abuse, the size of the ponies matter, the size of the kids are perfect for this, if they grow past a certain height they won't be able to ride shetlands anymore unless they're mixed with a bigger breed like a welsh. It's against the law if they get too large and still ride the ponies, hence why most of the kids are around the same size.
@animalcrazyabouteverything43675 жыл бұрын
Actually, its not height based, its weight based, they may not be the ideal height but they are not too heavy for the pony. In he future they will have to get new ponies because they will be too big, but now, it's not abuse.
