IT is BETTER! bands like this pay homage to King Diamond as they honor him for his falsetto style. This Vocalist is not named the Prince for nothing! And Thank F'n Goodness for Attic because I don't want just MF's The Oath album to satisfy My blood for this type of Power Metal. But check out these other KD Klone bands...Portrait, Them, A Tortured Soul, Morlok Von Grimorog, Dark Night. Hail NATAS & Mercyful Fate!

@@thenephilim3785 To me KDs solo stuff was always much better than everything MF ever created. E.g. I really like some songs on "in the shadows" ("shadows" is a fantastic track) but not all of them by far. But have you really ever heard the latest 2 KD albums (puppet master, gimme your soul) ? Best albums KD has made in his overall career. I can hardly express how great these albums are (Puppet master being my all time favorite KD). Attic is good, they have some great songs which come close to "puppet master" quality (most of the tracks on The invocation plus The Hound of Heaven, Dark Hosanna) but this new stuff is not as good on first listen. I´ll give it a few more tries.
