WOW! card #9 using the back of the stamped mermaid as a silhouette was genius! I wouldn’t have that of that. I also loved card #10. They’re all gorgeous but those two are my favorite. You’ve done an amazing job with this kit. I’m excited to get mine in the mail.

Love your way to make cards, no one can in my eyes make cards so beautifull with so little, i think that it is total stubit, that people use all the beautifull expensive shimmer paper to putt behind the cards, insted like you, just use a border... That make sence to me... Thank for share all that beauty in 10 cards... With love and respect.... Eva.

WOW... Awesome Creativity in every card... Thanks for sharing your ideas... And... A big thanks for mentioning the Scan n Cut 2 that I have been considering for some time now because I don't enjoy fussy cutting... That will be my Birthday gift for myself next month (if I can wait that long now that I'm confident about purchasing it LOL). Have a great day! :)
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Sue! I tend not to include machines or gizmo's which I know are a considered purchase for most of us but since I was using my scan n cut to help me make these cards quicker I thought it was more honest to show that. If you do get one, you'll be amazed at how much it can do and the scanner is excellent, much better than the one on my printer. I now no longer buy dies for cutting outlines of stamps. The only dies I buy are intricate or delicate one, not because the scan n cut can't handle detail, it can. It's because I think it's unnecessary use of the disposables such as your cutting mat and blades. I've found the buttons are quite intuitive and if you get stuck there are loads of tutorials online. I like applelover53. I hope you love your machine when you finally treat yourself :) xx

Beautiful cards! Do you have a video demonstrating the Brother (?) sticker-making machine? I’ve never heard of this before and would like to learn more. Thanks for the card inspiration.
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah and thank you! Here's the (European) link to the Brother Scan and Cut which is an electronic cutting machine. It's sold in the UK via the Create and Craft shopping channel and there are a lot of tutorials on you tube showing how to use it. I like the advice and videos from this lady ... www.applelover53.co.uk. It's a considered purchase and I thought long and hard before getting one but I use it most days I'm in my craft attic. It will draw, cut, foil and scan. I mostly use it for cutting as it will cut cardstock and paper as well as the sticker paper I used in the video. It's quite a machine and if you are making cards in bulk or making a lot at one time it's a real help :) xx www.brotherscanncut.co.uk/en_GB/;jsessionid=155CF41FD82FA25C400A5E568635934C
Beautiful cards! I am excited now to get my kit! Can you tell me the sticker sheet that you use? I checked your list of supplies but did not see it listed there. Thank you.
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Hi Carol, thanks for telling me, I knew I'd forgotten something I'd used and that was it!! I've added a link below the video. A4 white matte sticky backed paper - amzn.to/2MftJG9 This is a different brand to the one I have but the important things are white, matte, sticky backed! You can print, draw or stamp onto it. Some inks work better than others so do a little test before you stamp a whole sheet. Staz-on would work and I used a dye based ink because I know that one will let me colour using pencils or alcohol markers without making the ink run. This is such a sweet way to make stickers for children or for your planner. When I go on holiday I stamp out a load of images, tuck my scissors and coloured pencils into a box and take them with me. Crafters gotta craft!! :) xx

Hi Janis! SSS send my kit 3 days before the release date so I have time to make a video showing how I used it. The fun is that I don't know what's in the kit until I open the box :) xx
