Hi Anton what would you say is the minimum tank size for a fully grown one? What kind of swimming space do they need? How active are they compared to Tangs?
@augukern97082 жыл бұрын
Nice. How do you attach the corals. Do you glue them?
@DutchReefer2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm using Seachem Reef Glue for all coral, and two component glue for the rocks!

Did you mention the venomous spines? New gimbal is a lot better as the mic no longer gets covered up. 👍

Nice one, didn't cover that mainly because I never got hurt by it, but definitely something to mention, thanks!

Your tank is EPIC! New subscriber. I have been doing freshwater for years and I am currently in the process of starting my first reef. I am looking forward to your videos. Are you using a filter to record?
@DutchReefer5 жыл бұрын
Thank you man! Good luck with your Reef, I'm sure it will be a whole new and exciting experience for you! And no I'm not using any filters, but I do use my Galaxy S9 on "Pro" mode with the Kelvin towards 8-9k to reduce the blue haze

Your tank is amazing! I love your spotted drum. I want one soooooooo bad. Any info you could provide me on the spotted drum. Coral safe? Aggression? Particular veder to purchase from? I've been looking for months, but havent seen any trust worthy venders. Any tidbits would be much appreciated. And again your tank is absolutely stunning. I follow you on Instagram too. Love when your tank pops up on my feed...lol😁 Thank you for all the info you put out for us fellow reefers, you have saved my butt a few times...👍

They are really nice fish but they can be quite hard to keep. I got it from my LFS so not sure where it came from. They are safe for corals but can harass other fish and inverts. I have bought mine really young so it adapted well to the tank. Sadly it jumped out of my new tank when I was still setting up the top cover :-( and ehh.. Good to hear you like the YT and IG stuff!!!

Dutch Reefer what marine fish would you recommend for a 4x2x2 feet tank looking for 3 decent size fish. Help greatly appreciated
@DutchReefer5 жыл бұрын
@@Steve200300 120x60x60 is a decent size so you could go for a nice tang that doesn't grow huge, perhaps a copperband if you are up to the challenge to get him fed properly, and a pair of cool wrasse is also nice!
@Steve2003005 жыл бұрын
Dutch Reefer thanks my partner says she likes the yellow tang. Been told to stay away from copper band. What about a rabbit fox face. I’ve only been up and running a Marine tank 6 months it’s fish only. At the moment I have a 180 litres aquarium soon to be going to 120x60x60. Check out my channel you will see my marine tank .
