Your mom sounds like a wonderful person. I wish more mothers were this way. The world would be a much better place. It's your personal stories that draw me to your videos. You are a very down to Earth person. I like that you are not afraid to talk about your faith and God. I love to cook! It's the clean up after cooking that I don't care for. My dad was a good cook. He was known in our family for making rolls, mashed potatoes, chicken and noodles, and deviled eggs. It was all made from scratch. He sadly passed away two years ago. Around a year before he passed he would come over and make something with my son who was 5 at the time. I am so glad I took pictures of them cooking together. I hope my dad's joy of cooking will be kept alive. I was watching one of your past videos where you and your mother were looking at cookbooks. I love cookbooks. There is just something different about having an actual book in your hands as opposed to looking at recipes online. I like to find them at rummage sales or at library book sales. I think it would be neat if you and your mom did a video together where you make some of your favorite homemade recipes.

First off, after watching your video last week what comes up in my KZbin feed but.....Attitus Shaffer Visits Legoland Florida. No joke. I found that interesting. I have it marked to watch today. As far as the Krabby Patty, I don't think I would ever try it especially with the slightly fishy taste in the sauce. My daughter and I do really like Wendy's singles a lot. They are always fresh and delicious; never had a bad or off one. Our favorite go to is always the chocolate Frosty. And you are absolutely right, the taste has not changed in forever which makes us so happy. I really love hearing the stories you tell, especially about you growing up and your mom. You can tell how you talk about her and the look on your face how much you love her and how much she means to you. ❤ I'm thankful you had her as your mom and advocate as you turned out to be a Godly young man who is a needed example today. In regard to your comment on ageism, I have not experienced that (I'm almost 70) in any arena here where we live in the middle, but my daughter and I were wondering if it could be where you live. For example, elderly people being attacked in NY is something we don't have here. Doctors talk to me and completely ignore her when I have an appointment. Loved this episode eating a Krabby Patty. And thank you for not shying away from critical issues of the day. One favorite SpongeBob episode that comes to mind is Enchanted Tiki Dreams where SpongeBob and Patrick construct a tropical paradise for Squidward. Sadly it burns down, but demonstrates kind heartedness towards someone that rarely shows any kindness in return. A good lesson in unconditional love.

My godsons love SpongeBob SquarePants. Even into their 20s, they will randomly watch it and laugh like they did as kids. I certainly enjoy the show if I’m watching it, but I can’t say that I am the greatest fan of all time. I tried the Krabby Patty meal. I love the zesty sauce on the burger. My fries were saltier than the sea. The pineapple Frosty was my favorite item. Very refreshing. Thanks as always for taking the time to share this with us, Atticus.

Such a great story about your run ins with Tom Kenny. I always say that the voice over community are some of the best people in the biz, present company included Atticus! :D They just seem more down to Earth and genuine, despite them being the unsung heroes and well overdue for more notoriety they deserve. I think my first memory was my parents taking me, at age 4, to a dinner theater production of Arsenic and Old Lace, and my lifelong love of live theater was born. Next I saw Fiddler on the Roof at age 5 and Fruma Sarah flew over my head on strings from the ceiling and I was never the same, lol. I have seen dozens of plays and productions, New York, London, etc. Parents can never underestimate the effect exposing children to many different experiences will have. A teacher once told me, "Math and the sciences make life possible, but the arts...the arts make life worth it."

Great video Atticus 🎉. Wendy's is always a great option and is in my top 3 fast food restaurants. I know only a small amount about SpongeBob and that coming from pop culture references. The meal looked good and fresh, certainly what Wendy's is great at. If I tried the Krabby Patty meal, I would only have cheese, pickle and onion. Not a condiments guy and that description of the sauce alone made me gag a lil 😂. Also, as much as I love pineapple, that frosty lookeda bit too much CHOCOLATE FROSTY 4EVER3 🎉. Great story about working with Tom Keene. I hope you get a chance to work with him again and doing something like TLOU role you mentioned would be epic. Lastly, I am so grateful that you had your mom at your side to watch over you. The results of awesome parenting that your mom provided is present in how you carry yourself to this day.

Atticus, I used to a SpongeBob SquarePants annual when I was a kid. I got it from my mom for Christmas and it had a Veggie Krabby Patty recipe that I made once or twice. If they sold that at any of the fast food restaurants, I would definitely recommend it/order it. However, I didn't have it a lot because it's actually very sticky and it goes everywhere. But, I am loving your videos so much. However, I'm soooo jealous of you. You got to meet and work with Tom Kenny, the legend he is. I would be beside myself to meet the SpongeBob Crew someday. And Tom Kenny also plays Harold SquarePants (SpongeBob's Dad), Gary the Snail, the French Narrator and that "spine fish" from Chocolate with Nuts, in addition to several other characters in the show. I didn't know he did some voice work in Frankenweenie, which, btw, that movie creeped me out as a kid, but, I watched it in full last year and it's actually really good. I'm so happy for you, Atticus.

I was excited that Wendy's was celebrating Spongebob and I thought it was good. The frosty also had mango flavor to at the bottom. I wish they would have had some fun packaging like BK has for their Adams family theme this month. Love your stories and The Walking dead was one of my faves but agree it's neverending. I stopped watching after the fifth season when they killed off Beth's character. Beautiful tribute to your mom Atticus. It's wonderful the close relationship that you share. 100% agree with you about ageism, it's terribly sad what goes on.

Really love this video, hands down Spongebob is one of my many favorite childhood Cartoons that I still even watch till this day. My favorite two episodes are when Spongebob and Patrick build massive sand castles and have a all out war competition against each other. The other would be when Squidward Patrick and spongebob go camping. As for that Krabby Patty, I have never been to Wendys neither did I ever have the food from there. Atticus, I love SpongeBob so much. It's a cartoon that has defined my childhood, but, I do still watch it today and I find it hilarious. I think it's one of the best comfort shows around and one of the funniest cartoons for adults. It's up there with The Lion Guard, Bluey and The Simpsons for me. It's hard for me to pick a favourite SpongeBob SquarePants episode. I'd say maybe Pizza Delivery, The Chaperone, Karate Choppers, Krab Borg, Krusty Towers, Dying for Pie, the Christmas Special, Sailor Mouth. I have lots of favourites. Band Geeks is among them, but it's been talked about to death. If I come to Wendy's in America, I'm having a vegan Krabby Patty if they have one (I am a vegetarian, so, I don't eat beef burgers).

Interesting! Not the first pineapple frosty review I've seen which compared it to medicine. 😂 but I didn't think that when I tried it! Yours did appear to have a lot of the syrup, whereas mine was pooled on the bottom. Upon mixing it gave it a nice balance of flavours. Thanks for another great Eats episode and awesome storytime. 😊😊

If I had to pick a favorite Spongebob Episode, Just one bite (Squidward trying his first patty) or Suction Cup Symphony (Squidward tries to write a symphony, but keeps getting distracted by Spongebob and Patrick playing Doctor outside). I can tell you PoweredUp Mom's favorite moment is Patrick trying to open the Jar in Big Pink Loser.

I love the rip my pants episode and the episode where Squidward had never had a Krabby patty and SpongeBob got him to try one and Squidward lied to SpongeBob and said he didn't like it and Squidward would make up different names just to sneak a Krabby patty and then he ended up going into this vault with a sea of Krabby patties and he ended up exploding from all of the Krabby patties be ate.

My daughter and husband used to watch Spongebob together. My husband dressed up like Spongebob and his friend was Patrick for a work Halloween party. They won first place! I like Wendy's choc frosty the best. In and Out is my favorite burger. The cheeseburger with all the fixings. I have a question for you, I grew up watching the Dick Van Dike show. How was it working with Dick Van Dike and Jerry? It seems like they would be really fun to work with. 😊Love your videos

I haven’t had Wendy’s in years, but it was always a fav for me. And dipping my fries in a Frosty. Have you ever dipped your fries in your Frosty? Another fav was McDonalds fries with a hot chocolate to drink. The sweet and savory was and always will be the best!

My kids are 31, 29, and 25, so yeah I watched every episode of Sponge Bob more than once back in the day. I don't have a favorite because I don't really remember them specifically, but now I want to rewatch Sponge Bob because I do find it funny. As for the frosty, it is our habit to get one almost every Wednesday night after church. We always get chocolate, but I do like most of the short term flavors. However, I hated the pineapple, mango flavor. Yuk!

I’ve seen mixed reviews of the Wendy’s “Krabby Patty” 1. Branding is missing! Where’s the SpongeBob branding on the bag, cups and French fry container? 2. No sesame see bun? The sesame seed bun is the signature ingredient on the show and is missing. 3. Some people have said the burger at some Wendy’s locations doesn’t make the burger right and it tastes awful. If it had the SpongeBob branding I’d give it a 7/10 but for everything missing and not being authentic I’d give this burger a 5/10. Seems like Wendy’s did this promotion cheaply and rushed. If they took the time and then released these products it would be worth it.
