Wow, really lovely video. I would also recommend to go to: 1. Soi11 at Sukhumvit for the Vegetarian Restaurant: Dosa King 2. Soi19 at Sukhumvit (next to Terminal 21 Mall) for the Argentinian Steak house: El Gaucho. 3. There is also a Mark Weins Restaurant: Phed Mark, just 4 mins walk from Ekkamai BTS Station. Stay Safe, Eat Healthy and Don't worry, you guys are making these really informative for all of us. Cheers and e-peace...

@@AttilaAndZae lemongrass you can actually eat but only the bulb end (you may have to first remove 2 or so cylindrical outer layers to reveal the tender insides) very thinly sliced/finely chopped/pounded/blended; the top stringy tough leafy cylindrical stalk end is usually only there for flavoring; anything more than 1-2mm slices are usually not edible as they would be too tough. thinly cut crispy fried kafir lime leaves are very fragrant and delicious. personally i even eat kafir leaves whole; not nearly as tough as lemongrass leaves/stalks - love the fragrance and flavor.
Glad to see u guys tried the food court at Terminal 21:) I always stop by there every time I visit BKK. I also recommend u guys should check out Jodd Fairs night market (used to be known as Train night market). This place basically has everything, cheap street foods, bar with live music, shopping, etc. Lots of locals hang out here. It gets very lively & great atmosphere at night. I think it’s much better than Chinatown. Really enjoy watching your vids, keep up the great work!👍🏻

I have traveled to Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand. I have to say Thailand have the best food! Its so dam good. I'm not talking about the ones made for tourist but food that locals eat. Besides Thailand Hong Kong also have some really good food. Vietnam and Cambodia food sucks over there. Vietnamese food here in the U.S is way better then in Vietnam.

Rice dumpling is to remember a scholar who committed suicide in old china. His name is qu yuan. People threw dumpling into the river so that the fish do not eat his remains which was never found. It is bamboo leaves with glutinous rice with fillings. In hokkien dialect it is called chang In cantonese it is called chung In mandarin it is called zongzi It coincides with the dragon boat race.

4 things: 1. Great video, if you don’t like the food, just be honest. Nothing wrong with that. 2. It is never ok to follow the word literally with the word probably. 😂 3. Zae reminds me of my girlfriend when we’re walking in tight spaces with lots of passers by but she insists on standing next to me for 2 seconds before she has to move to the rear to let someone past before doing it all over again. It’s cute. 4. I think you’re right with the lemon grass in Tom Yum. I just like to chew it slightly to get the flavour out but I don’t think it’s meant to be eaten. Tom Yum is my favourite Thai dish.
