Thanks for the video, I think I'll crack a few out.

Cool.. go for it 😄 I found an aerial length of 95cm worked best for me. You will need something to program the ATtiny402. I used a Arduino Nano v3.0.

Welcome back, and thanks for sharing your thoughts on the radio kit! I want to buy and build an Internet Radio, to stream various free online channels, but I'm not sure which one... I'll likely be tied up for a few months 3D printing and laser cutting things for the holidays, so that will have to wait in the queue.🎄 Sorry about the antennas not working, but now you have a bag of 10 things you can use to point at other things. 😄

If you like I can send you one minus a few things (case, battery & speaker). This way it becomes DIY! and it can be popped in a padded envelope a sent cheaply. The FM spectrum in the US is the same as the UK & EU (pretty much), so it should work. It's not internet radio, but would you like to give it a go?

@@megazoid That's very kind of you but I'm so tied up with other things over the next few months I wouldn't be able to get to it. 🤓 Have fun building your kits. I hope your friends and family appreciate all the time you put into building custom gifts for them. I printed beautiful gift tags for my Christmas gifts a few years ago and I was humbug when people threw them into the waste bin. 😁

@@Leemonoid No problem. I know what you mean about handmade gifts. I think perhaps you have to be a bit of a hobbyist or crafter to wholly appreciate these things since you have walked in those shoes. Have fun 3d printing and laser cutting. I really should do more of that. I have a resin printer that is barely out of the box 😆
