After riding my Trance X Pro for a year I just flipped the chip (it was delivered in low position). I tend to ride slower, find climbs challenging, and don't do a lot of fast downhill. I think I like it! I'm able to maintain position in the saddle better, turns feel tighter, climbs better. Moral - don't wait, try the flip and see what happens.

Loyal Giant fans would definitely use this YT dedicated channel as a resource, please expand into videos on what is a great range of bikes. There are competing brands out there that grab attention, gets old hearing the sales push from competitors! Giant has done a great job during Covid reacting to filling local bike shops with riding options, it's tough sourcing new bikes in 2020 and keeping pricing reasonable.

I just did this on my Giant Trance X. I love the bike, but it has so many possibilities to play with. I posting a few of the things I am noticing as I am learning about the bike.

How do you like your Trance X? im considering trading in my Fathom 1 for a Trance X, I live in Colorado Springs where there's a good amount of tech and chunk, but also some steep downhill stuff as well.
@MTBMOR2 жыл бұрын
@@Shred_Tube I don't know the Fathom. I'm comparing mine to a Trek Slash (Enduro) and Trek Fuel (Trail) and a Specialized Epic (xc). I am really liking the bike. The cockpit seems short to me, but otherwise it feels good. I haven't pushed too hard on it to be honest. It was great on 5 Oaks and Rockit in Aliso Woods and Chutes Ridgline in Santiago Oaks. I did bottom out the rear on some medium sized jumps on Blue Steel. It pedals well, especially when there is some tech and it feels great in chunk. I have videos on all those trails if you want to see the stuff it's riding over.

So on the 2021 Giant Reign 29er you can just flip the chip to the high position raising the bottom bracket to run 27.5?

Can this flip-chip technology be used on the Reign1 2020 model by replacing the maestro?

I have a 2021 Trance Advanced Pro 29-1, it does not have the flip chip. Would it be possible to swap out the maestro rocker arm to a flip chip version 🤔

You'd better tell us - will there be any Reign with 27.5 or even mullet ??!!..

Hi meybe i am stupid but is there difreeance between high and low when you clim long hil, like is it faster on one mode than other
@joshcardenas88752 ай бұрын
Maybe faster in the fact that it'll put you and your bike in a more climbing orientated position
