Of everyone on this list, Kurt Angle arguably had the biggest boom of them all. Once the Ruthless Aggression Era hit and workhorses became more sought after, he was easily at his peak. Sure, one can argue that if he could go in today's WWE, he'd excel just as well, but remember: he had Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Lesnar, Cena, Michaels, Taker, Kane, and Triple H all at their peaks. While we can no longer watch his bouts with Benoit, they were a highlight of the era, often being damn near technical masterpieces. For me, I always remember the Ruthless Aggression Era a lot more than the Attitude Era because I always favored the in ring work than one's mic work.

the undertaker is the only constant that has existed from the very beginning till date. while it is true that he had become a part timer lately and possibly wont have another match ever. but he still makes appearance nonetheless and showing his presences and support for the industry. taker has been the backbone of wwe all along. tbh one could argue that wwe wouldnt have existed so long without taker. he was present support vince from his highest highs to his lowest lows. truly an icon.

Big Show in Ruthless Aggression Era was honestly booked better than in the Attitude Era The Attitude Era was when he flip flopped between face and heel the most frequently and he also wasn’t always portrayed strongly (ex: losing to Shane McMahon all the time) Once the Ruthless Aggression Era began, Show was place into a feud with Lesnar where he became the first man to beat Lesnar and took the WWE Title from him And throughout 2003 he made things hard for guys like Brock, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero On top of that, his character was also more consistent in the Ruthless Aggression Era as he got to have full years where he remained a heel without turning(2003) and a face without turning (2005 unless you count him and Kane picking on Rey Mysterio)

The disrespect of Shawn Michaels is noticeable in almost every video but this one is on another level, one for the fact of he’s not on this is absolutely ridiculous and then when discussing Kurt angle as one of the “greatest in ring performers” the quick list of people that can lay claim to that didn’t include the man that sits all alone at the top of that mountain HBK.

@@tareklegrand7747 Eh, I'd still count 1997 as part of the Attitude Era. Even if it wasn't officially labeled Attitude with the scratch logo in 1997 yet, the culture and atmosphere was definitely there during that year.

@fredster5945 ай бұрын
@@tareklegrand7747 Officially yes. But if you compare an average episode of Raw in 1997 to 1996, the difference is night and day. 1997 in spirit is very much Attitude era in terms of its edgy content and atmosphere. You gotta remember, WWF isn't a movie or a book, so there's no consistent date as to when exactly The New Generation era ended in spirit from a cultural perspective. The company's shift from being family friendly to appeal to a more older and edgy teenage audience in the mid 90s was a slow and experimental one. And you could definitely see a drastic change in scenery in 1997. While 1998 was when the company officially began the Attitude era campaign, the company itself and the content it produced wasn't all that different from 1997. I mean, there's no way I can look at DX, Kane & Undertaker and the Bret Hart & Stone Cold feud and call that the New Generation era.
