Nice piece! - I really am digging my NDLR. (..waited long enough for it! ) I'm finding it can drone on and on ... even with the modulation matrix options. I'm looking into creative ways to have it introduce space and get out of the default behaviors.

Very nice! I have a Cirklon and was wondering in what sense is the NDLR complementary or redundant with the Cirklon? Is it the chord progressions input and management or the mod matrix/LFO's it provides that makes it a good addition? Thx!

Thanks. For me it is just another way to get inspired and get sequences I wouldn't have made myself.

Hello Martin. It sounds fantastic. Have bought the NDLR. But I will have to wait till it arrives. I'm so curious. I am not good in Midi yet. How do you sync your gear in that setup with the NDLR?
@attorks4 жыл бұрын
Well, I sync the NDLR with the Cirklon so the Cirklon is the master and the NDLR is the slave. You can configure that on the NDLR. Be sure to use MIDI IN port B for the sync clock because port A won’t work.
@mad.magirus4 жыл бұрын

Yes, it the Oldschool. And no effects apart from delay and reverb.

Nice to hear from you. Inspiring and enjoyable as ever. This has a very interesting texture to it. Different from your other pieces. I almost want to say light and crisp. Is that the NDLR influence you speak of? Great work as always.
@attorks4 жыл бұрын
Well, it still is in the minor key ;-) But the NDLR helps a lot with Chord progressions and sequences that follow.
@zazz632 жыл бұрын
please how do you solid lock the ndlr to the cirklon? .. for me the ndlr doesnt recognize the cc start/stop sent from the cirklon or the mtr port option...and the cirklon doesnt recognise any start stop from the ndlr so if you were stop and restart the ndlr or the cirklon then the two machines might not be correctly in sync. so how did you approach this since as stated you have the drums and bass coming from the cirklon and the rest from the ndlr...so how?
@attorks2 жыл бұрын
The NDLR is slave to the Cirklon. Cirklon MIDI 1 Out connects to NDLR In B. Set Clock In on the NDLR to MIDI B and ClkInPPQ to 24. On Cirklon mclk is on rsyn1 and send MTC is on. Hope this helps?

Mooi hoor dit! Hoe is je ervaring met de NDLR?
@attorks4 жыл бұрын
@yveslambert85323 жыл бұрын
Grtz, yves
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
@tadream16w3 жыл бұрын
@@attorks Ok, super !
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
@yveslambert50813 жыл бұрын
@DaveBessell4 жыл бұрын
What control do you have over the chord inversions with this?
@attorks4 жыл бұрын
You can control the key and inversion with MIDI CC messages 26 and 27. So the buttons on the NDLR are controlled by the Cirklon. It is a little fiddly because the inversion is activated when you set the key. So the inversions have a minus delay in Cirklon, so send before the key change. In this piece the key stays the same (E-minor) but the inversions are changed.
@DarrylMcGee4 жыл бұрын
Another nice feature is to set the PAD Spread to RAND. Each time you play a chord it will change the voicing.

record this down - short intro - work that 7.30 a bit - refine it and you would get a classic out of this one - some small touches - simplify it
