Tyler’s ex wife, Melissa Waynette from Mentor Ohio said she tried to report things weren’t right but was told the things she was reporting weren’t “abuse.” She had 2 sons with Tyler and they both got back to mom. There is way more to this sick story. Prayers for the children.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

He wasn’t going to live much longer-he had just enough strength to somehow get out of the house. It’s a wonder he could even walk and think clearly enough to do this. If they succeeded in killing this child were they going to choose one of his siblings to take his place in the torture? How can BOTH parents do this to him? The very ones who were supposed to protect him betrayed him. I wonder if he had ever felt love?
@lynettebrinkman9552
@lynettebrinkman9552 Жыл бұрын
You ask how could BOTH parents do this. I think you’d be surprised by the interpersonal dynamics that can lead to this and how common it is. I grew up with an abusive mother and my father never ONCE stood up for me. My mother was ALWAYS right in that home which was exactly like the home he himself grew up in. Dominering mother with husband who submitted to her every action. A lot of malignant narcissists are masters at choosing a partner with the psychology that will support their behavior. It’s a real problem in our society and our children are suffering because no screening is done. These people will not stop their abuse until they are caught due to a severe problem like this one presenting itself. I pray this child is placed with good people who treat him with the love and compassion he’s always deserved.

@@lynettebrinkman9552 You’re right. That question was kinda offered up to the universe. I know by my own childhood experiences, and I just can’t fathom how, as a parent you could ever bear knowing your child was being mistreated and not sacrificing everything you could-even your own life to get them to safety. Through the grace of god this child barely lived through his torture.

@@lynettebrinkman9552 I agree. We have a friend now 35 who started abusing alcohol and nearly died recently. Now he is finally sober and getting help. He married. We later found out, close friends, that his parents were as your described above in your case. He was beaten was denied medical care was in pain all the time (alcohol used to self medicate) and told he needed to stay close by to always be there to take care of his parents and grand parents. Even close friends had NO idea how selfish and sick his parents were they had a squeaky clean image in public. It took him to nearly die before he would finally break free of their influence and get the help he needs, including a very serious ligament disorder that causes him to be double jointed and his ankles sometimes touch the ground. He ended up in a very physical job and his doctors have now told him that job is over. He simply does not have the ligament strength to do heavy lifting daily it could disable him permanently. And his parents dont understand why he wants no contact right now while he navigates his own healing with his long suffering wife.

His survival instincts likely took over and prevented his prefrontal cortex from intervening, just like what happens in a fight-flight response (the subconscious brain cuts off the connection to the prefrontal cortex and goes strictly into survival mode) when your life in being threatened.

The answer is that people in children’s spheres speak up when they notice what is mistreatment. Non homeschoolers are being abused in the majority of cases. Unfortunately, child protective services is overwhelmed and continues to place children back with abusive parents resulting in deaths in too many cases.

Most parents (not all, but most) are NOT qualified to homeschool children. Parents should be rigorously tested...both personality testing and intelligence and knowledge testing, to see if they are morally sound, and both emotionally and logically intelligent enough to educate their own children at home. That should put a big fat "oh shit" into child abuser's minds when they try to geographically isolate their children away from all the many levels of protection children are meant to have in school, sports, etc. Not one person but MANY teachers, administrators, counselors, coaches, other children, and even other parents.

@@darladawn1111 Exactly. People like this are scary AF because they want public notoriety for rescuing a child like this. It's a major red flag waving all over the place that Stephanie Lisa Hausam has some MAJOR narcissistic tendencies, otherwise...if she were serious...she would've already been applying for training and approval to be a foster parent. I fear for people like this getting their hands on already abused children, just so they can have short-term narcissistic supply. When the brain knows death is near, it will cut off the connections to the prefrontal cortex like it does in the face of a predator, and the subconscious brain takes over, sending the body into fight or flight mode. This couple probably had behavior problems and they were using food and locking child up to control him. We saw similar behavior with the Perrin CA huge multichild family where they were ALL locked up and chained to beds and starved fed once a day never allowed medical care or schooling. Then one girl escapes and tries to get help because she just can't take it anymore but is scared to death of her parents. It happens more than we would like it to. One boy last year was found living in a dog kennel in the backyard because the family did not have ROOM for him in the house. A neighbor rescued that child.

How much does a parent have to HATE their child, be so stubborn that with obvious behavior problems the child is punished relentlessly. Starvation is trying to get control of the child's behavior (wrong on every level). This kid is going to need a lot of therapy and physical rehabilitation to get muscle mass back and be put back on normal track of growth. Public school systems keep an eye out for kids being abused or not being fed or clothed or kept clean properly. This was 100% control of a man with sociopathic qualities. Thankfully this kid got out of there so he could survive. That's true courage.

Meanwhile, their emotionally neglecting, beating, and sometimes doing much WORSE to their own children inside those large homes. I don't understand why news people go to Private Criminal Defense Attorneys for commentary on MURDERERS and their VICTIMS. These are the people who are paid extremely well by their rich clients OR THE STATE...and in some cases, earn millions of dollars from representing wealthy criminals. They make their money by getting evidence thrown out of court, not allowing previous criminal acts from being disclosed to juries, obstructing and BADGERING WITNESSES AND VICTIMS. They deserve zero RESPECT for their attempts to get murderers, rapists, child molesters, wife beaters and all the DREGS OF CRIMINALITY...FREE TO KEEP ON CRIME-ING...creating more victims. I understand that our UN-JUSTICE system needs defense attorneys...but laws should be about PROTECTING VICTIMS...not CRIMINALS. No one should get rich off the MURDER of INNOCENTS. Public Defenders are fine...they have their reasons for defending creeps and don't get RICH OFF IT...unlike Private Defense Attorneys. All Criminal attorneys on BOTH SIDES of a case should be paid the SAME for the SAME WORK. The wealthy can afford the MOST VICIOUS Defense attorneys while average criminals cannot. That creates an imbalance in our UN-JUST system...which is bad for all of us. This all needs to change...but likely never will.
