I'd suggest that justifying someone's failures is not always healthy. I'd suggest that support in getting through the failures is, identifying what went wrong and support to pick up the pieces, is what is ultimately important. People need to learn from their mistakes to grow. One of the first statements can be, I've made the same mistake myself, we all f up at times, this part was good but I think we could improve this part..... If research is showing that criticism is a bad thing, there is something wrong, because constructive criticism should be a healthy process and if you can't have truth and honesty with the people closest to you, you have nothing.

People are meeting, and the second after they are start calling each other “baby” “love”. The same night they meet, they are already having sex. One month after, they are getting married. 10 months later, they are having babies. Two years later they are getting divorced... did you see what’s wrong in this? Confirming his suspicions, allaying his fears and fighting his enemies doesn't mean you should do things his way or agree totally, it means that you should just for once see things from his/her perspective... and then shut up... JUST LISTEN... the time to bring up your ideas will come later... and then he'll listen to you...

Lol I think y’all might be missing the point of this quote.. it’s not meant to deny your own feelings and allow people to walk all over you. It’s more like we are often so quick to defend ourselves that sometimes we don’t realize how much healing we can bring to our relationships if we stopped to listen. Important to enforce boundaries and not be walked all over yes. But seeing where the other person is coming from, especially if you love them, can be a really important move in a truly loving relationship

It is important to let your man know if you need something, or don't like something, yet it needs to be in a way that its not cutting him down.. . Like I'm dating a over the road trucker, he is out of town a lot. So if he said he going to take me out when he gets home, then he doesn't... I told him that I was disappointed about it , but not mad... Then he said he was sorry that your disappointed... We talked about it.. . Then is was a discussion , not a argument.. . I truly ❤️ him more! This is he didn't yell or swear at me... Both my ex and dad would have ... I love my boyfriend so much ❤️

I am finding a common thread in everything I have learned recently in your training and from church marriage/relationship classes and that is "respect". Men would choose respect over love any day. Maybe it's again a primal thing men must have but I have learned that in your advice of not complaining or condemning it's the respect issue, a men will hear you more openly and feel more open with you and safer if he knows you respect him even when he makes mistakes and don't condemn him.

"They don't want a relationship, they want the feelings and experiences that come from the relationship." The feelings and experiences are part of the actual relationship; the relationship is set of experiences: touch, conversation/communication, companionship, the pleasure of doing things for someone or them doing things for us, etc. we have a scientifically-proven (basically) need for relationship with other people. That statement is like saying, "No one wants a house, they just want walls around them and a roof over their head."

Treat people the way they want to be treated. I like that. Most of us already do that for our elders, our most respected and in many /most cases our bosses. Certainly we all want to be treated with respect so the golden rule is to treat others with respect but when we know certain people have certain ways, expect certain things, out of respect, love, customer care, patient care, etc., this is probably is use for most of us. It's true that when someone introduces themselves with a certain title or name to us directly it usually means that is what they expect us to call them even if everyone around us at that moment is calling the man "Dad" or "Rock". If he says, "Dr. Sing", then that is what you call the man until he says otherwise.

Thank you for helping people to understand judging is not the answer.

6:46 "The one sentence" that you supposedly need to know.. Also, quick summary is being yourself it authentic in a relationship is "selfish". People want/ expect to be manipulated. This goes for any kind if dealing with people from my pov, even and esp work situations (in which, just add politics and backstabbing for fun). I guess people act better, like it when you're screwing with them (a good mind f**k short and simple). Yes it's sad, but it's true. I think this really goes for those who are single in their later years, middle aged. Still playing games.

Hi Jason! I just subscribed! A lot of what you say makes sense. I disagree with those who commented that you “talk a lot”. In my opinion, you’re organized and thorough in presenting the lessons and concepts in your video. I appreciate that, so I threw in my “like” too! Will be checking out more of what you have to teach. Keep up the great work! Side note.. well.. not so “side” note, it’s a huge deal actually.. Congratulations on transforming into the physical and mental shape that you’re in, watching this video!! I imagine that was tough work. Def thumbs up! 😊

Be their cheerleader and they'll be yours. Promote their Dreams and to grow further find quality man that you both want to Dream with Together. Then you can Build memories, and Experiences. Listen to them and they will tell u who they really are in their Life. Values, morals, and ethically. Make sure they are as well off as you, and stay firm on your values, morals and ethic's as well. Many Ladies comments r very critical or typical of those who choose the wrong type of man. Men have just as many feelings as you and they express them Very differently.

There is, however, a way to approach faults if it's an issue in the relationship. Criticism is one thing and Helping is another. ( Criticism : knocking his identity down, blaming, scolding. ( Helping : encouraging, sees hope, refreshed, identity feel protected) Very delicate grey area. Most times than not, it's best to remain quiet and let them be themselves because most times it's simply about our own perceptions. Not fair game. We wouldn't appreciate it anymore they would. It's only natural.

17:10 easy recipe if you're doubtful: just do and say what pleases you without arguing and blaming... bam... if you feel like he isn't giving you the attention, then simply don't meet with him if you feel uncomfortable on the whole... let him actively ask for more and more time with you, otherwise your time should be filled with your life activities... you'll see if he gets it or not... because what we need is s.o. who does things for and with us enthusiastically, and not because you have to convince him... that's not the silent treatment, you can talk and explain if he asks, but in a calm way and also there's a limit to talking... that's all I'm saying... no drama, no time wasted... better open up to finding a new man with whom life is easy and fun and whom you don't have to convince to spend time with you... a man who loves you always let's you know where he is and what he's doing, you have no single doubt about his whereabouts...

Jason, I wish I had come across you when I was in University instead of studying Oriental Philosophy, Marxism Leninism l and ll (compulsory; ) Politics; Theory of Underdevelopmentalism; Epistemology and Metaphysics; English Lit, - - etc etc. All to gain a Liberal Arts degree, which I do not at all regret. I am making up for lost time watching and learning from you. Your presentations are excellent by the way. Yesterday, I wrote to an interesting man with a military/ legal background- and I think I encouraged, justified, allayed; confirmed and showed I respected him in my reply to him. Guess what, he reached out to thank me , gave me his email and asked me to write to him so he can send me a draft of his book. I swear it is because I listened to you. I would describe myself as an awkward introvert but now I am daring to take action. The days of standing alone and hanging apart are over, as I am ready to connect with the right man.

It totally makes sense to learn how to deal with the opposite sex!! Even though, maybe, our first reaction is to say. "well I want to be loved for who I am or I just want to be who I am and have things work out". It would be like trying to go be a dentist or a doctor and say well I should just be able to do this. I shouldn't have to go to school for it. I have teeth and I have a body. I shouldn't have to learn anything more about it because that's authentically who I am! I think whatever we do in life we need to learn all we can about it, because we don't know it all! We can add to who we are with knowledge and that doesn't mean we're not authentic. Learning just makes us more wise! 😁😎😄🌹

DURNG CHILDHOOD IS WHEN WE DEVELOP OUR ATTACHMENT STYLE. When people haven't healed this residual childhood pain, they grow up mistaking attachment for LOVE and think their partner's job is to fill their needs. They will COTINUE to look for love in others without finding true self love.

I recently had a man do this and I told him he didn't keep his promise to treat me the way I wanted to be treated. You're right, it caused a huge fight because he became very defensive. What would you say instead if someone didn't keep their promise?

🌸 I love all Jason’s intros because it’s just as valid as the tips. Plus his wisdom is something I’m not going to dismiss or take for granted. He has taken the time to not only help us grow and become more ourselves but also to remove the old ways of how we were taught to think. Cutting out things that no longer serve us. It’s very disrespectful & disappointing to keep seeing the tips start at such and such time in his videos Would you skip Jey Shetty also, or Mel Robbins ? All self help videos have certain intros designed to correct our mindset, but if you choose to skip then how can you grow?

I benefited from this video very much so.. I never knew how powerful psychological approaches were until I went to college. So I absolutely agree with you this is just how we work as human beings, point blank. I love the brilliant perspective you have behind this hidden human instinct. This is for women who want to go out there and get a life partner and want to be the pursuer. But it can also apply to your daily life, if you want that job or position bad enough then you will unconsciously use your psychological abilities to bridge that gap no matter what may stand in your way. I tell people all the time, in society it's all about making your mark, figuring out what purpose you hold, and most importantly your personal human behavior skills/people skills. These factors are extremely important and will take you far but only if you own the open mindedness. Thanks again for sharing this. A+

I'm so sad and at the same time relieved. Im a social worker. I started studying psychology and felt the field was a critical foundation for understanding the creature known as the human...... but then what? Social work takes the fundamentals of psychology which IS the study of the mind.... in other words.... the mechanisms and reasoning behind all behaviors within and between human minds...... and yes it's true... there is more variation within each gender category than between the various groups in general. Social work.... to get back to my point takes the foundation of the data, observations, and potential theoretical frameworks that tie together general identifiable patterns and recognizes that the concept of PIE becomes the guiding principle when understanding people from an individual, group and societal perspective (micro - you, mezzo - us , macro- everyone and then some). PIE stands for person in environment and its like a pie chart. Each slice is "who we are" in each separate environment we function in..... but who we are is the center of the pie where all those parts converge. It's a truly underdeveloped concept. I was thinking as I wrote.... this really needs to be a video or blog I MAKE..... and I will... but in the meantime.... it's time we spread the word...... the new wave of self help and coaching. And business....is actually all very firmly based in psychology, mental health , social sciences, and ....... drum roll.......nueropsychology and physics.....as in quantum..... in the end it really really is all connected...... I love your video... you are basically teaching the concept of FREE WILL as in the universal law, not religious edict.... don't get me started on religions that claim free will as a cornerstone followed by the riot act of rules. Ummmmmmmmm I love you......i have been talking about the platinum rule since I was a kid.... thought I made it up...... kindred spirit!!!! YEEEEESSSSSS. manipulation....... i'm Italian.... so the word roots mean to maneuver something with your "hands" meaning you have to actually change the position of things so that others can actually see your perspective.... not so insidious when you look at it like that...... and add free will..... plus authenticity and........ kindness and mutual respect of these concepts. Ideally we all manipulate a "picture " by the mode of communicating that is most natural and then after everyone had a turn......we study.... discuss..... explore..... inquire lovingly and discern what we each are ok with....or not..... and from here.....co creation has its absolute best petri dish for building a real human connection...... You just have a much more approachable way of saying it than us terribly branded and even less gracefully marketed mental health professionals........ damn medical model ruined it for us all...... I would be super curious if you might ever be willing to collaborate on a project with me. I've been searching for a Male voice who gets it and whose language i understand....... food for thought.....I have wanted to comment like this on all your videos..... but in the name of propriety I thought one good comment will have to do today...... Keep it coming.....I would love to present these concepts simultaneously with a Male and female perspective and for any gender specific readers of this comment........i personally feel there are only 2 energies in humans..... Male and female..... for me.. it's the specific ratio of each that makes the difference planet side of what that looks or feels like so feel free to create any name for your specific recipe .....I am simply keeping things simple...... well......I mean my post already speaks of the rabbit hole i can fall into on pretty much any subject concerning what I call the.......nah..... i'm saving that for the blog..... Love isn't found it's created. Peace. M
