@@MaBerryHomestead You don't ever chase a man. You can't save him. He needs to heal by his own will. If you pursue him it will be out of codependency. He is no way near ready for a new relationship with anyone. Leave him alone. Be a friend with boundaries.

I am in the process of a long distance relationship, I am 56 he is 34 soon to his birthday in July. He is aware of the age gap, he doesn't want children, he works a lot he saw me in pajamas, in formal clothes, with makeup or right after a shower by video calls with different hair styles. He says he likes me the way I am.

Rita Brandow That's true love❤️But i believe you'll continue this journey with Jesus and your husband who is in the heaven. Jesus will give you all the strength you need. Just have faith in him and follow him no matter what. There will be tough times on this earth but by being with Jesus you've all you need to survive. Matthew 6: 25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[a] 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

I didn't make my ex win my affection. He didn't have to earn me. I realise that was a mistake now, but at the time, I thought giving him affection would result in him appreciating me. How wrong I was! I've been way too scared to date as I want to do a complete and thorough autopsy on the failed relationship and figure out how to initiate and maintain a healthy and loving relationship. I will never settle for anything less than perfect. (I'm talking about someone I'm not compromising my self worth for. ). I'd much rather be alone and happy than with someone and feeling small.

What it takes for a high quality guy to fall madly in love with you: (What men need from a woman to be happy) 1. Help him to tap into his emotional side. (Guys struggle with being emotionally intimate. He needs to feel he can be himself with you. Men can't stand to feel pressured into talking and opening. You should just be interested in his goals and purposes. He needs to feel that you're standing by their side and opening up.) Show interest in a man's purpose. He will feel more powerful, invincible. He will associate being his best self with being with you. You will encourage him to pursue his passion and be supportive. 2. He considers being with you a safe space. And be able to feel peace when he comes home. You need to show him you're at peace with yourself and exude a peaceful energy. Be relaxed. Transfer this calm energy, it's like connecting to an animal, where you can not use words. Look your man directly in the eyes when you're talking. Be present. Just care about what he's saying. Don't look at the phone. Don't interrupt them. 3. He needs to win your affection. To feel as though they hit the lottery by being with you. Don't overcompensate from the begining (cooking elaborate meals, buying him gifts, cleaning his house, being generous, making it too easy for him). Women hold the power. Give him some room: let him plan the dates, let him call you, you need to be super successful, and not want to settle. He will fight for you. Use this advice: 1. Meet a great guy. Stay calm and relaxed, let him come to you. 2. After you've spent some time together, you show him that being with you feels safe, peaceful, calm. You can listen to him, being fully present. You can help him connect with his emotional side and support him. Men can fall deeply in love with an exceptional woman.

And this was an awesome reminder of what I have been through when I was a child. 🎗️ My parents were VERY TOXIC individuals and self- distruction was was what I was conditioned to do, or else ! ..... This was a severe form of child abuse and they had no business raising children in that home!! Neither did my grand parents on my mother's side of the family, and some of my Aunts & Uncles. Quite personally, I wish us kids were adopted into very loving homes where the parents actually cared about the kids and not just themselves. It was a very sad situation l and I really wish child protective services actually existed back then. Shame, shame, SHAME ON THEM!!!! 😠

Kiki Freese wow....omg. I’m exactly the same. One thing I’ve learned is that when you trust a guy and you push/support - which ever as they’re essentially both the same thing - them to have their own life aswell as a life with you then they take that as a green light to go exchange bodily fluids with any amount of other females...and usually females who would give them a dogs life if they were in a relationship with any of them and who would also keep him on his toes because of how he met her and got her so easily 🤦🏼‍♀️ What is it with guys - do they not realise that they have been given the most amazing gift a partner could ever give....which is freedom to have ‘guy time’ and trust to go with it 😳 I honestly thought it was just me. I’m so glad I saw your post, obviously I feel for you but wtf....you’re the 1st person I’ve ever come across who’s said that. 😳🙌🏼 🤦🏼‍♀️ Are you by chance a Scorpio or do you have Scorpio Aries and/or Leo in your sun, moon and/or rising sign??? Just curious to see if there’s a connection of sorts between our personality as dictated by the main placing in a personal Horoscope.🙌🏼🤦🏼‍♀️

I mean this in the most loving manner; perhaps your "picker" is off. Maybe change the type of men you're picking. I'm probably way the heck older than most here and have always dated guys who treated me with respect and kindness. My friends would always say "How come the guys you date are always great and the ones I date turn out to be scumbags?!" Yep, I think it's the" picker".
@Angel-tv5lq
@Angel-tv5lq 4 жыл бұрын
lilac G I agree with you....it all depends on you. I realised that very early on in my life. However I have to stand by my original comment in that I’m so easy going and just let guys have their freedom, pushed them to....but in saying that I’m a bloodhound and seek out deception which is probably the only reason I found it. My ex’s cooked, cleaned, watched the kids, did the school run and gave me the absolute world....all of them. They loved me....adored me even....seemingly unconditionally. They behaved as an adoring lapdog would.....but in encouraging them to have a life they took it as a green light. Go figure. I can’t say I’ve been treated badly as I wasn’t but to me that was bad enough to kick them to the kerb. If I was consistently mistreated verbally and physically I would then look within myself.....but I wasn’t mistreated....in that was I not the person I am I would never have known and life wudve been perfect. Maybe I shouldn’t have looked. Who knows 🤷‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I feel like all videos like these do is teach women how to play a game men aren't playing anymore. They're literally getting everything they want without having to make any compromises, so really why would they want to commit? I appreciate the content dating coaches create, I just feel like this type of content further perpetuates situations where women put in all the work and men just coast on by because they can. Maybe someone ought to teach men how to be men at this point

A man knows what he wants the whole time- he should put the effort for the women to secure her in all ways so she knows she is not alone, ever wondering or questioning his loyalty, love and trust in their relationship that is supposed to be courting to serious to eventually marriage because both parties are on the same page. People stop wasting time on relationships that have been over before you could even accept it is emotionally over. There is nothing wrong with loving someone, but there is something wrong for a person to allow you to love them knowing they dont love you in return.

Seriously its all about how to please men at the end of the day and that's just so damn tiring. I have become an unapologetic Queen. Learn how to deal with me. They never appreciate jumping hoops for them anyway - like never. As soon as I wanted to leave a man cuz I couldn't put up with his shit......he proposes cuz acting in a nice way he also believes that you will never leave him.

Thank you sir, for your advice! I had my ahaaaaa moment today regarding relationships. I was in a very long relationship previously but broke it off because he didn't want to get married. I understand the "dating game" I think I'm equipped to date again. It took me 3yrs to heal and I'm grateful, because I have learned my lesson. I feel whole again and you confirmed my suspicion on the mistake I made. This is my last KZbin video regarding relationships, thank you.🙏🏼💙🙏🏼

So... your first two examples are elders who have stayed together through thick and thin. And in each, the wife gently counters his enthusiasm with a realistic comment ("The war years were hell"). Younger people need to learn this. Trust is EARNED as much as DESERVED. Make no mistake, you are interviewing these older folks at the end of a lifetime of ups and downs and a fidelity that seems highly rare these days. I am just a little younger than they are, and I know that they fell in love in a time in our cultural history that was a LOT more trusting and innocent in a way.

There are way too many men that have turned overly into their feminine energy, and this kind of a man constantly fears that the woman will not listen to his emotions and support him, and this fear then activates every time the woman starts sharing about her emotions. This event only activates a deep need/trigger for him to go into contest of being weak and heard and supported by the feminine (to not AGAIN be deprived of his emotional space and expression) and all her emotion expression right away is too much for him, he takes it personally, and it leads him to constanly feeling a burnout in listening to her emotions. His cup is always already full. It is like suddenly there are 2 women in the relationship. If you follow the advice in this video you will support him in stepping into his feminine and in excess this will lead towards what I just described. The world is in over excess currently with men like this due to failed motherhood. We need men to take the man's role in the relationship, that is the polar opposite of the woman's. The masculine energy that creates a safe space for the feminine to express her feelings, hold space for her to do this, not feel threatened by it or start expressing his own feelings to drown her expression of hers. When he does this, intimacy grows, and it will make her more able to listen to his feelings when he needs that support. But I would be really careful not to do this too often, to not strain the relationship dynamics too much. If this is done the wrong way, the man being the first expressing his feelings and just expecting the woman to take it in, without preparing the dynamic like I mentioned, it will repulse many women, leaving them feeling like a mother in the relationship, like a baby on their breast. And on a subconscious level it will make her feel like there is no security, strength and no masculine energy in him to turn her on, and the sexual desire from her side towards him will suffer. The tension between, the tension created by 2 polar opposites, the game of the feminine and masculine energy will suffer, the beautiful dance between the man and the woman, the nourishment of the relationship between a man and a woman. We need more men to step in as masculines, strong and independent in the world today, there is a shortage of these due to problems is the mother relationship when growing up, and that is why this video is not helping, it has the potential to make things worse. Of course this kind of a relationship initially makes the man happy, but it does not mean this happiness will activate him to step up into the masculine role within the relationship, and if he doesn't in turn make her woman happy by stepping into that role, well, we all know why there then are so many nagging women, asexual women (women who are not craving for sex but just giving it to their men, occasionally), and divorces. And why these divorces are very often filed by women, while the men have no idea why, they thought they were just living a relatively comfy life together. Men need to not stay in the comfy place, men need to stand up from that comfiness and do work. Offer to make the woman happy with constant and appropriate action. Once there are children involved, it will become even worse if the man doesn't step up into his role of the masculine provider. This is why so many women say, that once they had children, it started feeling like the man was just another child for them to tend to.

@S Maberry I wouldn’t change anything about who you are. Most ppl have been hurt very deeply in love because it’s extremely normal for 1 partner to love much more than the other and most ppl mess around, run around with others, cheat....b4 they hit 30. Most ppl are not with the one they will spend the rest of their lives with while they’re in their late teens to late twenty’s, they may have met that person.....’the one’ and had that spark of attraction but it won’t be until they’re in their early 30’s that they truly appreciate a good man/woman. If this person isn’t giving you their all and you’re in your late 20’s - early 30’s or older....then walk. Many ppl - mainly guys - use excuses of past relationships to manipulate current relationships...it’s just manipulation, pure and simple....it’s part of their game plan/strategy whatever you choose to call it. It’s so they can get the best out of you without having to give you the best of themselves. In some cases when you pull away, the other person may feel that sense of loss and realise that they genuinely miss you and that while they were ‘playing the game’ - you sneaked in to their heart without them realising it. That person will fight to get you back. If they don’t then you lost nothing as you cannot lose what you never had. But bottom line is - don’t fall in the trap of being his emotional and ‘on standby’ option. You should definitely love and respect yourself enough to realise when you’re simply an option or a stand in for when the ‘real deal’ comes along....if you don’t then you need to take a step back to view the relationship objectively....and while doing that you should take a chunk of the love you’ve been showering them with and use it to reboot your own self in respect of confidence etc. Some ppl just aren’t the one no matter how much you want them to be ‘the one’. You’ll know when you’ve met ‘the one’, because they’ll be as happy as you are to wake up next to you and spend another day with you. Good luck

"Being present in the moment" is not a "hippy dippy term". I listen to your video's A LOT and like them. This one time I am incredibly turned off. Look, I'm in psych. professionally (doulbe M.S.), for 30 years and have done my own work in therapy off an on as people NEED to do, just like people NEED to get yearly physical check ups. In other words, I CONSTANTLY work on myself so I am can be a happy, healthy person but also, a good psychotherapist. SO, all that being said: "being present in the moment" is many thousands of years old and it refers to meditation and sometimes Yoga. In Harvard studies meditation, yoga, "being present in the moment" AKA: being mindful, helps ease anxiety. That is HARVARD, not just "hippy dippy". PLEASE: since you are making these video's...VALIDATE your information by letting your viewers know to access Harvard studies on anxiety or how to "be in the moment" and how the abiliity to do that helps not just to attract a man, it TRULY helps anyone who gets to have this time with anyone will to "be present in the moment". There are psych. studies about "holding space" just after a trauma that is important...

Yes, exactly! That was the comment which made me mad also. Being present for other human being in nearly the requirement for being human. At least if you want to be a good one and build up meaningful relationships with other human beings at all...Having a "relationship" coach saying "being present for others" sounding like hippy dippy is totally absurd and makes me question any advice given in this channel again. Only way to remedy this is to dive deep in and make a video about "how important is being present for others in relationships". Remember, you must preach only what you understand so deep dive into understanding what "holding space/being present for others" really means. And that will be one of the most meaningful adventures and discoveries in your life. Good luck and enjoy the journey!!!

Don’t just have sex with anyone to have sex. It literally binds your soul to that person. That’s cheapens it. And spreads yourself thin. It’s the nature of the innate intimacy , or design of sex. The mistake or lie people believe is that sex isn’t as sacred and so they use it without the boundaries anything sacred is designed to have and so by the design is how one should look at sex and why it was created in the first place so to speak. Thank you for helping others with what you know! 🙏🏻

No I don’t think so. Saying it has to be both ways means you’re in someone else’s business. You’re demanding someone else’s behavior when you only have control of your own behavior. Interestingly enough when you act in the way described here, others mirror it back to you. Drop the word “should “ from your vocabulary and watch how the world changes.

Pam Bennett I don’t really care if a man is supportive or not. Honestly. What he does is his business not mine. Why should I demand he be supportive of my goals and dreams ? If he isn’t then by definition we are not a good match so we would naturally not be together. No demands just reality. I’m supportive of my OWN goals and dreams and don’t need a man to be anything but himself. I believe freedom as a foundation to any good relationship. I’ve learned looking for needs in others just ends up in frustration and disappointment

Listen to Your Son. If this man cares for & about You he will promise to not leave when he's angry. You two should be talking over any problems. Also forget about Love it's all about Respect. Peace, joy, health & love Ms. D.

I find your videos getting better every time. Please have also plus size models in your clips-snippets. Because we are all different, and any size have deep love.

I tried to help him to tap with his emotional side. But I didn't know he was a narcissist, so it made him feel like I was so sensitive that he could play me. My emotions made him reply with resent and he played mind games on me. I want to find someone to build up and support, but that just can't be a narcissist. He sees goodness as a weakness to be taking advantage of.
