nick smith Well, SHE definitely wants sex too! I think a lot of people forget that feminine energy is sexuality. The right hemisphere or feminine energy is creativity, emotion, spirituality and sexuality. The left hemisphere or masculine energy is structure, arithmetic, reason, and ego. If we look back at matriarchal history, there’s evidence of this everywhere.

for women, 4 and 5 are the same.. 2 and 3 are the same. I'd do: 1. To be loved, respected and appreciated 2. To feel protected physically, emotionally and financially 3. To be truly admired for something: compassion, business skills, art, beauty, etc 4. To be listened to and obeyed by her man, yes. She wants to know she has power over her man and can influence him, she wants to have a say. 5. To be challenged and dominated by her man, yes. A man that always follows what she says is weak, she wants to have power over him but she yearns someone strong enough to put her in her place when is needed. She will probably have bad and unstable days, she NEEDS a rock to rely on or to be humbled by.

The man got the big head thinking I cared more than I actually did (loved him more than anything) in other words it just made him cocky! When I have acted as if I didn’t care, didn’t make them feel special or important, they treated me like a queen! Most men cant handle queens. Queen: I'm all of these, getting a commitment and even talking about the future, building a life was never my problem. I've experienced this beforehand. I found myself that I was doing MOST of the things mentioned in this video (not all, but most), yet he was still distant and a "jerk". @jaymcd85774 жыл бұрын
The reason he was being distant and a jerk was because as men we've been led to believe that's one of the ways to need to keep you interested and not wander off silly as it sounds. Plus you'll never change a guy, why in God's name are you always trying to change men, this goes on and on. Men go into relationships hoping they won't change women the opposite it's seen time and time again. Trust issues just seem to persist between us.
@Nuissance4 жыл бұрын
@@jaymcd8577 Usually the men nagging how women are trying to change them, are the mama's boys who refuse to grow up and adapt, because it's just easier to stay in the comfort zone and wait for good things to happen to them. Your habits and behaviours are not who you are, but what you choose to repeat, this should be subject to change, if you're mature enough to see what's not doing you any good in the long run. Trust issues persist because people get stuck in the past and act out of fear and insecurity. The evolutionary role of females is to adapt faster and anticipate change (which is constant and inevitable like gravity, so why fear it?), to drive progress and encourage competition among men, so the species can survive and evolve. That is the reason why women are naturally picky and demanding improvement. It's not because we are all irrational cruel bitches, boys. Everyone, man or woman, has flaws, and the only way up is to be open to change. Not easy, but worth it.

There's an old saying when training horses - "reward the try.'" every time they make an attempt to respond to the ask, a little reward is given. Doesn't take long before things click. I think the same thing goes for people/men. A "thank you" or peck on the cheek, bringing a cup of coffee, little things but huge in showing appreciation.
@fromflabtofourteener95964 жыл бұрын
@@nicksmith-cx1fx Kindness begets kindness. "Reward the try" simply means to appreciate an effort. The appreciation of a kind word,, a chore done, etc. (and I don't mean a material gift, this is above that), should be everyday behavior. I have friends married 28 years, and it's a pleasure to be around them. All because they appreciate the little (and big) things they do for each other, from making coffee to remodeling the bathroom! Nowadays, many people don't know how to respond to, or show kindness. It has to be taught. We DO teach others how to treat us, define boundaries, express needs and desires, but not by manipulation. That implies selfishness. Kindness implies selflessness. And that's what love is about.

@fromflabtofourteener95964 жыл бұрын
@@nicksmith-cx1fx no, not manipulation. It's teaching how you want to be treated. I can either dig in the spurs, or give loving pats. The ultimate goal is to create NOT a push-button machine, but a relationship. And trust me, those critters have big personalities, and they don't change - but you adapt to create the relationship. It's not changing a person, I know better than that. But I will definitely set boundaries in a relationship, and that is done with respect and kindness. I'm sorry my point isn't getting through. It sounds like someone really put you through the wringer.
@fromflabtofourteener95964 жыл бұрын
@@nicksmith-cx1fx I don't understand you. Do you say "yes, please" or "thank you?". Or is being kind considered manipulation in your book? The ultimate goal is the relationship thriving. That means both benefit. Manipulation is where only one benefits, and not for long. Relationship growth is done with respect, kindness, boundaries. No dating coach told me this. It comes from 59 years on this Rock, and lots of bumps and bruises along the way. What's wrong with being kind, with responding in a sweet way when someone does something? It makes them feel good as well. That's neither control nor manipulation. And I never "manipulated" my horses. I'm really sorry you can't see kindness for what it is.

@miva93hp594 жыл бұрын
I haven't even watched the Video to the end. But, as a man, I feel the obligation to make something crystal clear. There is absolutely nothing that men "secretly" want from women. Here is what we want: - being treated decently (as human beings, just like you expect us to treat you from the beginning on; *with respect* ) - sex (before any commitments it is) Why? Because most men don't yet feel ready and need some time to get into something more serious (relationships rely on trust and both partners need to get to know each other better first) and last but not least - be honest ( *no mindgames* , no matter how difficult that seems.) If a man likes a woman in a certain way and he has the option, he will be straight forward and honest with her about his motives, so she knows what's going on. Please, try the same. Who knows and maybe you (girls) will be quite successfull. That's it. Maybe it does not apply to everyone ever, but I guess it does to most people and (especially) men. Btw. There is a gigantic difference between MEN and manlets, because the latter are full of shit. 💩 So beware of them. P.d. independance is important to have (for both genders it is) You know, it makes life generally (including dating/hooking up) easier and therefore more enjoyable. That would be all for today. 🎩👌

She leaves him for good and tries a new one (even if not immediately) Yes, in this particular order Btw. women also get complacent (possibly more so but feel free to correct me if I am wrong) However, if a relationship goes for long enough, then prople get used to each other, and over time get bored easily and therefore need to find creative solutions about it anyway.

So, a lot of the comments sound like people expressing some frustration over the inequalities that exist between men getting their needs met and women getting theirs met. I feel that this video was not designed to exacerbate that, but really to contemplate that dynamic. Why is it men have their needs met more than women as a whole? Men will straight up ask for more and they don't always over deliver. This video was filmed to let everyone in on what goes through a man's head and he delivered the information honestly, meaning he didn't hold back the truth because he's afraid how women would take it. I appreciate the honesty and have learned that when I swallow what felt like my pride and opened up to my spouse and appreciated and respected him, what I got back from him made it all totally worth it. He started treating me like his queen and made successful efforts to live up to the respect and appreciation I was giving him. Today, he literally lives to support and make me happy. I and our daughters are his entire life and as long as I continue to put him in his "king" chair he will continue to put me in my queen and goddess throne. I know to us women some of the things he said make us cringe, but if we can let go of what we make those things mean and treat him like the king we want to be married to, he will give back 10 fold what we put in. I went from working toward a separation with my spouse to being more in love with him than I ever thought I could be. Literally, all he wants is to serve me perfectly because when he succeeds at that it makes him feel like a real man, strong and capable. When he feels strong and capable he actually becomes those things, so it's a feedback loop that's addicting and amazing and wonderful. I had to get past the resentment of, "why am I the one that has to learn how he works." On the other side of that resentment is total happiness with your partner. On the other side of that is also him reaching to understand you too. In fact that's what he's been trying to do the whole time. We just didn't see it. Disclaimer: This is all contingent on him being a healthy masculine man.

Also let me add that just because men weren’t raised to articulate their emotions properly doesn’t mean they haven’t had plenty of time to learn. That’s a poor excuse. Some kids are raised by parents who never teach them about health, education, manners, or sobriety even.,... but at one point kids become young adults, who then learn about taking responsibility, whether their parents raised them to be responsible or not. Most of us eventually learn that we can’t keep blaming what we don’t currently know on our parents... especially NOW with the luxury of free education literally at our fingertips, there’s REALLY no excuse, at least for most of us.. Look - women could be saying the same nonsense, and say that because their parents didn’t raise them to embrace their sexuality, let alone so liberally, then they shouldn’t be expected to be by the men they’re dating... but THAT wouldn’t fly with men. If a man is able to go online or attend a seminar on how to pick up and seduce women, the he can just as easily learn to articulate his feelings. It would be a different argument altogether if men have never heard about women wanting them to articulate their emotions... Does anyone know a man in their life who’s never once heard that women desire emotional transparency and reciprocity?!? No. One could argue that if a man hasn’t taken it upon himself to not only learn about what women desire but also what they need from him and other men, then it’s likely he doesn’t care enough to, and that’s probably a fact that many women are in denial about accepting. I say, if your man says “nothing” when you ask him what he’s thinking find a man with basic communication skills. Because he didn’t have to be perfect to be able to convey his thoughts or feelings.. I dated a guy who was 23 at the time and he had no issues whatsoever with crying in front of me and telling me how he felt at any given moment. It’s not rocket science..
@wandasexton6434 жыл бұрын
Wow thank you for being so articulate! We just need more women that have self respect and value who they are and stop thinking that they need a man vs wanting a man and looking for the qualities for a healthy mentally stable relationship. I have an ex-boyfriend who blamed his parents for the way he turned out as an adult. I told him the first step is in acknowledging that and you have two choices you can either continue to play the victim and make everybody pay which is very narcissistic or you can put your big boy pants on and she used to be a mentally emotionally stable adult and get some therapy. He chose to continue to be the victim.

@Rimmonin4 жыл бұрын
@@dagda3000 It's both true and false. In the beginning women want men to appear strong and dependable so showing weakness is a bad move, including being too emotional. But later on it is healthier to show some emotion in order to bond with your partner. Not all emotions show weakness either, if you are in difficulty and show that emotionally but then you work to overcome it it actually shows strength and women will respect you more. It's only if you do nothing but sit around and mope and complain that women (or honestly anyone) will lose respect for you.

@irinaivanovic97923 жыл бұрын
I'd add, a woman IS the table. What does that man bring to YOU? This is the mindset women need to start adopting instead of burning the candle at both ends (wanting to be a good housewife, plan on having kids, AND working our asses off to have a full time career.....No way). All that work is 80/20 for a woman who cannot rest in her femininity and will never be taken care of. The MAN needs to be the one putting in more effort.

This was so helpful, but I’m wondering about something. I went into my little relationship 23 years ago, and independent woman, very strong but also very kind, and very generous and he said about to destroy me piece by piece. Now I’m in the middle of a divorce, and I’m trying to figure out what happened. It seems like maybe he was a small minded man.Because the weirdest thing for me was that, why wouldn’t you want a strong woman on your side? Why wouldn’t you want someone who is independent who, if you lost your job suddenly for some reason, could support you or the family, while you figured out what you wanted to do next, why wouldn’t that be valuable to a man? I feel like I’ve been fucked up by probably the stupidest man in the world

Don't let anyone take from you your strength, kindness and generosity. Those are awesome qualities. It may be that you pilfered them on the wrong person. But take them back for yourself. You don't have to give them up along with your marriage.

I'm sorry you went through this.. Just know that you're not alone.. It doesn't matter how Awesome of a woman you are. If you are with the WRONG man, he'll bring you down. RUN from bad matches and partners. And don't be fooled that men who view you as "too strong" would be much better with a "weaker" and less independent woman. Wrong. They want an easy, vulnerable and very soft-spoken woman with whom they would wipe the floor with and do what they want, destroy her life and psyche because they ENJOYY the torture. They enjoy seeing someone completely floored by them, they take pleasure in that.. BEWARE! As he said in the video, the Goal is to be a High Value woman. Best of Luck.

He made it impossible to trust him. You can’t trust a moody, angry man. And Without trust,our relationship started breaking down. I finally gave up on him Cut my losses. I’ve had enough verbal abuse to last a lifetime. our love was incredibly beautiful for about the first decade. But he had no idea how to step outside himself and be with someone else. very sad, as the rewards for being in an intimate relationship with a woman are so great. many men are on the same path that he is. Selfish and self-centered to the end. When you get too old to start something new, you might regret the selfishness that kept you from experiencing the worlds most amazing thing. I wanted to be a grandma and grandpa with him. I wanted to be his Best friend for life. That’s worth something. I’m done with control freaks. Whenever he did get upset about something, he never made up first. He would stay angry abd not speak for days. If I went to him first, he would immediately say want to go out for doinner, just like nothing had happened. He also NEVER took responsibility for any of our misunderstandings. @TheologyEd4 жыл бұрын
Hi Legacy! :) I guess it could be one of a few things. But one that comes to mind is this: . It could be kind of like a natural love. The mind is a part of the natural world, and there's something really beautiful about exceptional parts of the natural world -- the moon, huge mountains, volcanic lakes, cheetah's running, etc. The human mind is one of the most exceptional parts of the natural world due to its intricacy, capacities, etc. And, if this guy's mind is really exceptional even among minds, it may be the sort of thing that you find stunningly beautiful and love. Sort of like someone who falls in love with a beautiful lake and wants to spend time there, fishing, camping, etc. . Romantic love for a person includes love for _the whole person_. So, loving just the mind while not loving the person seems completely reasonable to me. You may find a person physically unattractive, his scent unpleasant, or his behavior strange and erratic, etc. These sorts of things can make it hard to 'love' them romantically. But you can still love the mind of that person. In fact, even the the beauty of that mind may be the sort of thing that prevents you from loving them romantically. If you find the mind so amazing that the person is intimidating, or if that person's exceptional mind renders them sort of emotionally oblivious and awkward, etc., then the same mind that you love may be a powerful reason for not wanting a relationship with the person. . :) Really interesting question. I'm glad you asked it! Blessings!

That's like saying " they should make us feel confident " ..a women should already feel confident they might be lacking some but that's okay. But I do agree with praising and appreciating thing. You're basically thanking them but the thing is will they give you appreciation back when do something for them. Some men will not say " Thank you or I appreciate it/that " .....a thank you goes a long way w/some women. I hate when we have to pull that outta them. I truly hate it. If a man thinks he needs being satisfied he must know that lots of men are out there . Ladies keep change your man .. get fresh new one for your enjoyment. Life is all about you because it is only your life ... you deserve to be happy. Remember man can not make you happy. Why would you go to make him happy?

How come I never see these types of vids addressing to men about what women want and need? Why is it all on us yo fix men? We're not their shrink!

Easy, just watch some video's on dating advice for men. It's just as ridiculous. :)

I have spent too much of my life just trying to give women what they say they want. But it took me way too long to figure out the large gap between what they say they want and what they really want. But then I came to realize that men really don't say what they want either. Us men will say something like I want a quiet mousy woman who is totally passive and just never challenges us. This is not what we really want. Yes we want to be the King, the head of the house. But we want a woman with some spunk, sense of humor, confidence, able to articulate what she wants or just how she feels or sees things. Someone with an outgoing personality. I'm not saying someone pushy or bossy. But rather someone somewhat extroverted and smart and fully alive. Who can call us out when it is needed but do it in a respectful way.

This man says we have to CALL A MAN OUT! So in other words babysit ! I guess we often hear they have to make the first move .. Pressure to be the man but have no role models okay so, now I have to stroke ego, encourage, be thankful... make him feel manly .. but yet I have to live without no appreciation .. That’s life sometimes there’s no appreciation I understand that! Okay I give the video C - I prefer to be alone because men just aren’t interested in really dating anymore unless a woman is 18 - 25 so, I Pass on trying.

I think the same could be said for me (a female) in terms of wanting someone who will call me out when I’m not being my best

i couldn't listen to this. Although I get it that this may be accurate in like 2/50 cases, all I kept hearing this guy say (hidden underneath what i actually heard him saying) was...." you may be in a relationship with a Narcissist." ........... To the woman and men, if you believe this guy as he's talking about men wanting their partners to look at them, or make them feel like, a king (or with woman wanting to be their queen), may I suggest reading up on Narcissistic traits/beliefs/relationships and so on. i only say this through experience. I prefer to listen and learn with DR. RAMANI. I apologise if I have offended some people, that was not my intention,
@brucecollis86094 жыл бұрын
You're right Deena, male or female, narcissists are who we need to look out for. My attractions are different since I married and ultimately was divorced by a narcissist. So I am guilty of being taken in by one. Now I can see them coming a mile away! Keep your chin up, there are a lot of normal men and women out there that aren't still single dating experts.

In my experience I have found quite the opposite to the wanting a 'Queen' theory, being strong minded and career driven seems to have emasculated my past partners. I would have to agree with some of the comments below, it's not a doting wife that men seem to want but a replacement mother, unconditional love on tap as and when it pleases, with ways and means to support an often volatile ego without taking up any challenging emotional space. Unfortunately I have never been up to the task , part of my issue is i'd like to be and the failure to do so often manifests in displaced resentment and an inability to recognise or vocalise my needs or wants.
@vanessavixen85293 жыл бұрын
My experience also. First point is to be a Queen. Then later states for you to act like you can't even climb up a ladder. I can understand thanking him for doing something to help you but acting like you can't do it yourself is ridiculous. The story about the man that was upset that the woman didn't like the color of the desk and took it to mean he didn't think he did a good job ridiculous. Sick of these infantile men.

These are all just principles for any human being to practice... gratitude, respect, supporting each other & behaving like a decent friend, manners... y'know? All these principles are listed in the bible for all ppl to aim to model, & it gives men & women different assignments... men LOVE your wives, women RESPECT ur husbands... Why? Coz men understand respect but struggle with love & women understand love but struggle with respect. And women need love and men need respect... Good human relations advice for anyone i think...

Just have to put this for both men, women (or i guess whichever you class yourself as) reading. Regardless of what others think or you I hope you know how precious you are, and I really hope the dating scene doesn't cause you to undermine that you are more than enough, just as you are now.

Wow, you said, "Men often condition women to receive LESS than she Deserves !" Shocking manipulation... Long term abuse and control over a woman in relationships ! How desperately SAD 😭
@kimkimpa51503 жыл бұрын
That's the only option to avoid divorce though. Since divorce results in loss of 50%+ of a man's wealth, yes, manipulation is needed.

Wow, lots of negitive comments here surprises me. These are great points for us girls. I love the advise and think they are spot on with the guy I'm seeing. Number one is a very good reminder for me. It's hard to stand up for myself and say I dont feel treated properly because I'm afraid of walking away from a great relationship. But on a couple of occasions this guy had me waiting for him and I was upset. I do express that I'm upset but I dont call off the date.. we live 4.5 hrs from each other so I can understand some lateness, but this guy would be more than an hour late without a call.. not acceptable.

I really don't think women should have to be the perfect woman for any man. All this means is the woman doesn't get to be herself while she figures out how to please her man, Woman are tired of that. If there is any such thing as real love, then both partners have to be real and love each other for who they are, good, bad, and the ugly. I don't think a woman should be a sex goddess for any man. It doesn't sound spontaneous or real.
@mrhollandsopus4184 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you. When the woman is always coddling a man, he comes to expect it and waits for it. Love is an adult game and both people need to enter it with maturity.

How ya like the part stroke his Ego and answer the door naked! Sorry. I’m Not a sex tool! How about men don’t even wanna go out on dates anymore I get asked out about once every 10 years, and I consider myself Attractive. I honestly will just be alone because that seems to be less aggravating!
@amasion28824 жыл бұрын
It’s impossible for women to be perfect for any man because all human beings are flawed. That said, it’s not bad to cater to a loving, respectful, and appreciative man who meets your needs. You don’t want to be a sex goddess, you want to be a love goddess.

U say men like a woman who expect n demands respect I've bn doing thatfor 15 years n men don't like that in my experience they all like the subsurvient yes girl who takes their crap n disrespect n expect physical relations from date 1 when u don't even know the guy. It can't be coincidence or just bad luck most men in all these years don't care about self respect or a straightforward honest woman just robots yes girls who they date n marry. Not trying to be negative bit I've seen it again n again.

Some weak men feel stronger by having a woman serve them and take their abuse, usually spending her money, while hiding theirs. These kinds of men have found their ideal woman, although they treat her like crap. Trouble is they come off as so sweet, and we do what we can to keep them happy. Easier to get into this mess, than to get out of it.
