Reminds me of a girl I started talking too. I was attracted to her for a long as I know but couldn't figure out why I was so drawn to her. People always ask me why I don't have a gf despite being above average looking and having a great personality. The reason is that I have anxiety and have had so since my teen years. Sometimes, I have real trouble talking to women, but other times, I'm fine. I have general anxiety about life as well, which doesn't help but I'm getting help and stepping out my comfort zone. Confidence and mental wellness are important. You can have looks and money, but it's useless if you don't feel good inside.

As i grow older I'm starting to notice that the psychological and physical are connected when it comes to appearance. I can't exactly put it into words but you can often see a person's personality and values in their eyes before you begin talking to them. I can tell when a woman's values don't line up with mine and it comes off in the little details, like their eyes and expressions, the lines on their faces, or how they're dressed or how they move and speak. So even though objectively they may very attractive, i instinctively don't want anything to do with them but i wouldn't be able to tell you why at first. This goes beyond dating to every type of relationship. It's not 100% but it's definitely there. As always, the gut and your subconscious are always taking in information with all of your senses; you just have to pay attention.

This, got the girl that everyone wanted out of high school and dated into college. A total sweetheart and thicker than LA traffic. Buuuut she didn't wanna grow up, parents did everything for her. She didn't drive alone until 23. I thought that her being pretty and everybody wanting her would make me want to stay, but we simply grew apart. I felt the sex matter less and less everyday.
