Universal has some solid pizza offerings: the meatball pizza at minion cafe is delicious, over in superhero island they have a bbq chicken pizza, and then there’s the traditional pizza in the italian restaurant in the new york section of studios

i will say this from what i seen this is definitely very promising from epic universe, it’s one thing to have good or great attractions/rides/atmosphere but having just as good or great food on top of it is certainly something to keep in mind

Yes, you are more accustomed to more spices and flavors than your typical midwestern Applebees consumer. The parks cater to the the blander tastes of the masses. BUT there are good meals to be had at Disney, you just have to seek them out. Navigating Disney is its own challenge.

Disney is awesome, as someone who has both Disney and Universal annual passes, trust me Disney still superior in many things, specially food offerings in its park. Epic would do nothing to Disney, people will still go to Disney, they'll just skip Island and Universal park once they get rid of that you most visit the other 2 parks to get in the new park.. Universal knows that they are the ones that are going to hurt

Wait there’s lots of great pizza places in Florida. Check out Times Square pizza in Fort Lauderdale, V pizza in Orlando, adriennes pizza bar in west palm, daves pizza garage, hillarys chicago, uncle Rico’s has won among some of the best parlors in the nation out of fort myers, etc. there are 100% great pizza places in Florida

There’s no cheat codes to coasters, you just have to make yourself get on. I was scared of coasters until one day my friend just made me get on with her and I had no choice but to ride it. Now I love them

very interesting vid. i havnt looked up any of the potential restaurants for epic yet but i think food in universal is already pretty freaking good. ive been to many of the restaurants in universal and islands and have been to many of the festivals to experience that food as well. i think they put alot of time and effort into what they make and how they plan things. i dont think any sit down restaurant ive been at for universal be it in the park or city walk has been overpriced or something that a family couldn’t afford on a vacation. i feel they have pretty affordable prices compared to disney in my opinion. I also feel like many dishes if not all dishes can be easily shared.

The challenge with pizza is that there are vastly different regional styles and expectations: New York, Chicago, Neapolitan, New Haven, California... So there's plenty for everyone to not like. When they make a single pizza that tries to "satisfy" everybody it's a very bland and uninspired. If they could offer different styles of pizza in the same restaurant (e.g., "stations"), which does require different cooking methods including conveyor oven, wood-fire, coal-fire, guests can order the kind of pizza they want...and they may come back many times to try the different styles.

While I personally love the name "Das Stakehaus", I agree that it's def going to confuse some people. Considering it's fast casual, I would love it if they absolutely nailed a few steak sandwiches (like a Philly cheesesteak) and made those the "featured" menu option. Honestly, it was prob an idea they already had and got turned down for some reason. 🙁

Das steakhouse is not a quick service restaurant it’s sit down and it’s called that because they serve kebabs a.k.a. steaks on wood steaks so you got some information wrong about that restaurant but everything else seems solid so thanks for the video and have faith in pizza moon
