Can you thread the light through the air beam sleeve instead of using the skytrack, or is this not recommended or could potentially damage the bladder?

Unfortunately not as it won’t shine through the fabric and will be compressed by the air tube.

Hi Mike, I really like this light. Could I fit it on the older Vango Rhapsody 800xl model, which, unfortunately, doesn't have sky track? Cheers, Dave.

You can use them without skytrack as we often put them in other tent brands. You just have to string it up from the main lantern hanging point or attach hanging points onto the beam sleeve on the tent.

Would this system attach to the new Dometic tents instead of the Sabre lights?

It would yes but you would have to utilise the carabiner clips to hang it from.

What's the best way to power these lights ,if they need plugging in do you run an electrical extension from the caravan ? And is this safe ?

Richard Zincke you can just have a lead coming from an external socket on the caravan (if you have one) or have the lead coming out of a window (which is inside the awning).

Thanks for the reply , I think I've sorted it ,will use a flexible two way mains converter plugged in to the caravan then use an extension from the other socket ! Thanks

Hi can I put these onto the Velcro points (in the archway) on my berghaus air tent?

Yeah that would work perfectly, or string them around the bedroom toggles points, as that would work well.

Jason Davies unfortunately it just runs on mains power or 12V for the kit

How does the flexi light system fit onto the track system? Do I need to buy clips?

So you may need to by some ‘Sky Hooks’ if you haven’t already got them and then the light can just Velcro to the hooks.

@@AttwoollsCoUk The packaging says "Includes spare hoop and loop for use in tents without SkyTrack" Which means if you have Sky Track it should just attach straight onto it. It shouldnt need Sky Hooks. If it did, they would surely be included. Vango wouldnt include attachments for "non sky track" tents but not include the necessary fixing to facilitate sky track surely!

@@stummj99 I believe because you get 10 sky hooks supplied with the tent Vango assume you will just use them. So in that case you wouldn’t need to buy additional skyhooks. If you are using your skyhooks for something else, then it would he purchase sand extra.

John Richards the Flexi Light can only been run on mains but the sunbeam kit can be run on 12V but it wouldn’t be particularly efficient.
