I believe another manufacturer have had the single point inflation and the connecting tubes in time split from be packed away. I think it was Outwell where you had cut off values if my memory serves me right. How does this compare? On the whole the single inflation it looks brilliant on Vango.

Previously Kampa, Zempire, Outwell & Decathlon have all had a single point which was all very similar but this works slightly differently as it’s more like an inline circuit so air moves along the bottom of the tent but filters into each tube separately.

Hey, similar to the question by "Hitch up and Tow Pat and David Addis 1 month ago" I have a Ryobi multi inflator, I use it for everything that needs inflating, from car tyres, footballs, paddling pools and airbeds, and was really hoping to use it on my current Vang Capri Air and now future Vango airbeam tent (the Anantara III Air TC 650XL) However, the pump attachment for the airspeed valve is ever slightly different in tube diameter than the Ryobi pump tube, do you know if you can buy a universal adapter that will fit on the end that can be used for the Vango 'airbeam' tents?

Unfortunately I am unaware of a universal adaptor that will change a normal pump to the Airspeed Adaptor. In saying that I’m sure that someone with a 3D printer could easily make one.

@@AttwoollsCoUk Hi Both, when I set mine up in a week or so, I'll see what the dimensions of the airbeam valve are and see if I can find your ryobi pump also. I'll try and knock an adaptor up! As an aside, Just bought my Anantara 650XL, Wasn't aware it had a single inflation point (Not inflated yet), is this on all the models of this tent and size?

@@adventuredan5487 it is only on the Anantara III & IV models in all sizes. You’ll find two valves on the first front beam if it has the single point inflation.

Thinking of buying the anantara but worried about the single point inflation… I had the outwell Vermont 7sa second time using it it leaked from every joint… I’m torn between vango anantara or outwell woodlake 7atc… Any recommendations on which one would be better? Thanks

From a specification point of view the Anantara would come out on top and you don’t have to use the single point inflation if you don’t want to. On the other hand you can always look at the Ventanas which is similar to the Anantara but without SI Pro but with a little side annexe.

How does this effect changing the beams if damaged? Can you replace a single beam still?

It doesn’t change the process at all, you’d still go about it in the same way and you can even use a multi point tube on a SI Pro system.

@@charlesmilligan1416 it honestly comes down to person preference and how you are going to use the tent. Would the side pod be used for sleeping or living space?

@@AttwoollsCoUk more than likely sleeping.. although the OR has 2 sides one for each? Do you have both in store to look at? Are there differences in the quality of each manufacturer?

@@charlesmilligan1416 we have the Kalahari on display and the Vango Ventanas TC, which is a similar version to it. So it is as good as having both on display. Your best option would be to pop in to take a look.

Now that single point inflation system has been out a year, are there any common issues with the system?

Is there a kit to retro fit this to an older airbeam without the single point system?

Unfortunately not, all of the beams in this new model are unique, so you would have to place all of the beams and sleeves (plus make an additional outlet point and internal sleeve for the system). So to replace the beams & sleeves alone I expect you’d be looking at £500.

I have tried to get an answer on the phone, the video chap has not been in the showroom, so still at a loss, can you confirm that the turbo pump connector will connect to the Airbeam valve on my Kalari 3 380, my reason for asking the Zephyr pump connector did not, the connector is slightly different, no matter what the showroom says, the Zephyr connection will not connect to my Kalari Airbeam☹️ hope you can help😊

Hi The new pump will have the same attachments as the old one but this should still fit your kalari. Can you possibly send us a photo of attachments you have on your pump and awning so we can see why it’s not fitting.

@@AttwoollsCoUk thanks for your reply, the connector on the hand pump is slightly different to the Zepher, not sure I can add photos here that shows the difference, can I have an email address to send them, I have been trying to ask for Mike but unable to speak to him to ask him to try the test Zephyr he has used on You Tube on a Kalari Airbeam connection.
