I did not know atua was a real god I thought the danganronpa creators made it up, and now that I know what atua really is, I now find it completely disrespectful how the danganronpa creators treated it like a religious cult and represented it really badly, don’t get me wrong I do love danganronpa, but what they did in v3 is pretty insulting to the Polynesian culture or to anyone out there who’s Polynesian and now I hate how the fandom is being completely disrespectful to atua by making jokes about it, and when I looked up atua on google images, it was all just pictures of Angie :(

I really wish people would realize that what Danganronpa did with Atua and Angie was really not okay. Angie’s character was not Polynesian, and in the Japanese dub it was just god, due to the belief that god can have many forms and such. The Danganronpa English dub replaced god with Atua, and basically treated it like a religious cult the entire time, and now the fandom is full of jokes about it. They don’t even realize it’s a real beautiful thing that doesn’t deserve to be treated like a joke. It’s serious problem that has been going on since the games came out and it really needs to cool down. If you are going to make a joke than please look into it more and be more aware of the true beauty instead of making it just a stupid joke.

Oh and to clarify, atua is not a god, atua is the word for "god" in many Polynesian languages and yet even that translation is not really accurate as atua are finite supernatural beings, they don’t follow the same concept of divinity as the christian god. So rather than fighting with eachother, lets research the peculiarities of our Polynesian community, and seek out the numerous hidden information that our ancestors were aware of. Now I'm not saying we are Egyptian, as we polynesians know that we are a mixture of different cultures, pre-christianity. Here is a small list of Tongan to Egyptian word similarities.. *Fai - To do.. The comments are mostly danganronpa fans because of that concerning atua obsessed maniac named angie who thinks atua will solve every murder case and its interesting to know about who atua actually is. i thought it was made up just like the fictional characters in danganronpa. But i was wrong. It in NO WAY is disrespectful to bring up a fictional show that has a character who isn't Japanese and who is apart of the culture that has to do with religion and atua and that's why angie isn't Japanese in the first place. you cant be offended when you don't even care about atua and the religion and Polynesia culture. Its disappointing having to deal with dramatic ignorants like you when we didn't say anything offensive nor racist towards the religion atua is from. you need to take a chill pill because you misunderstood the whole point of peoples comments. they thought atua was fake but it wasn't. also they and I cant help but to think of danganronpa and angie when we here atua because no one in todays world hears about atua or Polynesia at all. its 2021. you need to calm down. no one is offending you or atua or any Polynesian religion/culture/cult. We aren't worshiping no devil. all we are saying is that atua is from a show that isn't very common to the anime community actually. Even though you and others might think danganronpa has nothing to do with the title or this video, think again. One single character out of all 48 in danganronpa, is a religious non-japanese character created to be in a Polynesian culture that has something to do with worshiping atua and angie always mentioned atua every 5 seconds. she always said "atua knows everything" and that might as well be true but then again she might have just been hallucinating or something- and danganronpa therefore, has a character that is all about the culture and religion of atua. so at least 5% of danganronpa has something to do with atua, due to one of its extremely religious characters. so before you complain or rant or say something quite annoying do your research and be more educated next time. not sorry for the long paragraph
