Well done Jason, Suzanne and Junior! I like this format a lot and adds some variety to your story. I look forward to day #2.

Thanks Reed ! Not sure how day 2 will come together. Suzanne was even sicker on day 2 than she was on day 1, she couldn't even talk. 😳

So, neither of you thought about the comfort of that nice toy hauler while in that tent? lol, .... I salute you both! Theresa and I did many years of tent camping in the past and have a vowed to never do that again! But good for you two!

Very good video. Such beautiful scenerytoo! You folks are lucky to have that all around you. I was surprised to see that the route took you 5 miles ish down a numbered highway. NOT here in Wisconsin. Looking forward to part-deau the sequel.
@MyATVlife3 жыл бұрын
Thank You ! Yeah, about 5 miles there on the hwy, and in part 2 we ride along the side of the hwy again up near Alpine WY. Not my favorite sections of the trip.

Was there any 50” wide restrictions on that loop I’d love to do it some day I lived in afton as a kid in the early 90’s always wanted to got back and check it out this would be and awesome way to see it again
@MyATVlife2 жыл бұрын
The main loop is all roads, no width restrictions at all. There are a few side loops that are 50 inch, but they are all optional.

Thank You ! We use the SENS 20S, have been for years. The range on them isn't great, "line of sight" mostly, but we love them. The newer models have better range than the ones we have. We've considered upgrading, but these work well enough for now.

New sub here. Loved the video! The scenery looks amazing! It is so green there lol. I like your trailer set up the Can-Am was pulling. About how much does it weigh?
@MyATVlife3 жыл бұрын
Empty weight is only about 250lbs. We probably had less than 100lbs of gear and food in it. It's amazingly light. I'd say 80%+ of the weight is the frame, axle, and wheels/tires.

Did I miss the dates of the trip? Mid-June? 21? I’m wanting to come that way next year….
@MyATVlife3 жыл бұрын
Didn't really say, but mid June-ish. I'm told by the locals that on a normal winter year those upper passes don't open up til mid-late July. We had a mild Winter this year so I thought I'd be ok.

Are your tires dot rated. How is your GPS mounted in the trail. Do you run ethanol free gas in the trail
@MyATVlife3 жыл бұрын
Tires on the Maverick Trail are DOT rated, but not the ones on the ATV. The GPS is just my iPhone mounted on a handlebar mount on the ATV. The only time I put ethanol free in my MT or ATV is if I know they are going to sit for a while, otherwise I don't worry about it. I try to run "top tier" gasoline all the time, but during the season it doesn't stay in the tank very long so I don't worry about it.

Cheers sir, love your videos.

We had our day cooler (lunch and drinks) in the passenger seat along with a few other items, so passenger seat was taken. Plus we needed the additional storage on the ATV too. Plus I just like riding my ATV. 😊
