The brute forces are great machines. Ive built quite a few of them. Actuators are problematic. The oem kawasaki belts hold up good, but aftermarket belts, not so much.

That squeaking noise is from a slightly tight belt being slid across moving sheaves because it's not supposed to be idled in gear. Rule of thumb with Brutes is slide it into neutral if you're not moving forward. Saves the belt and doesn't squeal.
