This is exactly why I stick with traditional 5 speed foot operated semi auto clutch atvs. No bs sensors to go wrong or oil pump pressure to control shifting. Keep it simple and ride on...

I have a 02 Honda foreman Rubicon 500 es...now It just started today...When i put it in D1 or D2 it will not shift out of 1st for some reason. When I put it in esp drive it won't shift with the shifter but it will in low gear. In low gear it shows the letter L for low....but when it's in d1 or d2 d for drive doesn't show up and all the d1.d2.esp lights are on....have no idea what to do. ?.thanks hope someone can help

i have a 2004 rubicon when i turn on the switch where the d1 and d2 esp it blinks and does'nt shift just stays in low when you go into reverse it misses

i have 2007 trx400fa atv ,doing the same , esp blinks 6 times, have changed ecm and angle sensor, have u fixed ur2004 rubicon, if fixed, what was problem ,thanks need help

Just change the d1 and d2.selector and it will fix your problem that what i did and it works great again

@@carlglacken2050 i have the same problem can you help i have a 2003 hondamatic 500cc and stall on reverse .. What you mean selector? Y that the esp nub the one has on left side esp and #1 and #2 that one?

You have a #5 code adjust the clutch

Everything I have read says 10w40 is too high. Should run 5w30 or less
