2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 Side by Side (UTV) Review

I have had mine for over a 1050 miles with no problems.My best friend has one that has taken a amazing amount of abuse I personally have seen water 2 inches from the top of the door and just kept on going. I love this thing after owning several UTV'S they will have to pry this one from my paws!!

My dad bought it to ride my disabled sister around in, because she can't ride a quad herself. My dad followed me with my mom and sister on board while I was on the quad through the woods next to a river, I'm telling you, that thing conquered the bluffs like a champ. However, there is one problem. The exhaust is pointed straight at the trailer hitch, making it really hot, which could be a problem if we were towing a trailer

I like that Kawasaki went in a different direction than the other OEMs with its four-seater. It's not crazy long, so it's good for tighter trails. And the seats are awesome. Hope Kawi puts them in the two-seat Teryx.

Though we haven't tested the Teryx4 long term (just a few days here and there), we struggle to believe it's junk. We've used and abused many Kawasaki products over the years and have had very good results.

I can sadly say i have flipped both the rihno 660 and the teryx 4 this being totally my stupidity . but i have to say the teryx felt alot safer do to the heavy nice doors and the well made roll bars also the seating felt safer to during the fall. With the rhino my first reaction was to put my hand and feet out to stop the thing from rolling ( that hurt ) with the teryx it rolled on its side no gas came flooding out of it like expected and it had a full tank and i was right by a creek

Have a 2012, only problem early on was fuel pump, found out it wasn't fuel pump but the metal screen inside the plastic tube just above fuel pump, I stuck a bent nail destroyed this screen and now she has been running like a champ since then. That was 3 years ago, other complaint is engine is a bit loud inside passenger compartment,

I have a 2018. If I knew then, what I know now, I would have gone another way. It drives awesome. Very comfortable. A major pain in the ass to do any maintenance. Just disconnecting the battery sucks. Unbelievable anyone would bury all mechanical components under so much plastic. Do yourselves a favor, go with a ranger or any other model. Youl, kick yourself in the ass if you buy one of these

i had to have a new motor at 97 miles and all of the recalls at 120 miles it is very hard starting and it dont stay running unless i sit right with it and baby it for about five minutes

Is there still vents in the transmission that cant be submerged like the older models

I have one and it's far from junk. Tons and tons of the best quality parts on it from the factory. Junk is just a crazy thing to say.

TheDuner1965 the polaris is doing a lot better than kawasaki right now i own a trex4 its junk with all of the problems i have had and it only has 123.8 miles on it
