If I remember correctly spargo made a tweet saying he’s fully locking in and preparing for rivals 2 at genesis. Even for a dedicated clairen hater such as myself I really love seeing him play and I can’t wait to see what he’ll do!

The thing thats so impressive about Sparg0s throw game is like where tf does that skill come from? In Ultimate he plays Cloud who notoriously has a non-existent grab game and gets no guaranteed combos off of landing one but I think thats why he's so good at it because he's used to that in Ultimate and uses grabs in that game to set him self up in a positional advantage to make the next situation more in his favor. His awareness in what throw to go for in any given situation to give himself the most likelyor optimal follow up or positional advantage is what sets him apart in Rivals, especially as a Clairen player who has so many mixups with her grab game. Truly impressive I really hope Sparg0 takes this game seriously and competes more cuz if he puts in half the work as he has Ultimate he's gonna be a phenomenal player if hes come this far already just off a MONTH of playing. Truly generational LOL

Rivals does feel similar to ultimate in a lot of ways besides the edge guarding and combos. Just recovery, defensive options, and the characters specials really
