Connor and Evan were my favorites. I still have a lot of Connor's storyline on VHS.

The happiness was brief. Hal found out everything in a surprising way. .

I forgot to mention: - the opening music here sounds like the opening music to Streets of Rage. Yay! - those scenes of Lucinda shooting the lock off the front door are hilariously insane, and the craziest excuse ever to have a gun in the house. The best part is when Lucinda tries to kick open the door after the first shot and realizes it's not happening. I'd love to hear Liz talk about shooting (no pun intended) these scenes.

The door shooting is too campy for words. Funny how Lucinda can't kick it open with her stylish designer pumps on.

Yes, this is Evan Walsh III, his father.

The struggle between Orlena/Damian/Lily was really underacted. That was a nice sendoff for Evan. It was nice seeing all the vets gathered together. Is Evan the father of that Evan Walsh IV guy who came to Oakdale around 2007/2008? That scene where Lucinda shoots the lock deserves its own video. It was brilliant and hilarious!

like she was in that Rachel Dratch/Will Farrell "lovahs" sketch. The party scenes were much better. I'd forgotten Evan was still there, and that Hal still didn't know about the affair. Barbara and Evan weren't being too subtle. I like how this was juxtaposed with Mac's illness and Nancy's fear. Very nicely done. Nikki is even more annoying and selfish than I remembered. Jeremy wasn't the best actor but had a certain innocence that made you care. Jennifer and the piece of glass - yikes!!

Looking back, ATWT fell in line with most other shows in that period. I guess there was an improvement upon the Valente/Black/Stern era, but not by much. Carly's sperm hunt and David's reign of terror were prime examples of the madness. There was little heart except for Emily's rape and Barbara's baby dying. Damian was alive, yet he played no part in the Diego/Umberto tale. Samantha & Kirk disappeared for good while Molly's takeover began. After '95 the intricate, adult ATWT never returned.

Do you have more episodes from this periode (august-november 1995)?
@Oakdalian12 жыл бұрын
Liz's screaming is quite uncharacteristic. There's no scenery left to chew when she's done.

I'm looking for an episode with Mark and Lily. Lily is drugged by Orlena and has hallucinations somewhre outside. If oy have this episode, would you like to upload it? Thanks! I love your channel!

Kind of sad when the background music has to carry all the action (the Orlena climax). The scenes with Mark and Smythe and then Damian/Lily/Orlena are surprisingly sluggish, with no urgency. The scenes where Orlena keeps getting the gun are somewhat ludicrous, and not in a good way. Everyone underacts so much that Lynn Milgrim and Liz Hubbard overcompensate (not that they needed a reason to overact). I think Hubbard's theatrics in her last scene were her most OTT ever. And Orlena saying "lovah"

I never saw that, thanks. Eileen Fulton was right, of course. I wasn't fond of the way Geraldo's audience had far less enthusiasm for ATWT than the other nominees!
