These coils of wire take incoming current and change the voltage according to the transformer turns ratio, which is Np/Ns = Vp/Vs for the number windings of the primary coil and secondary coil Np and Ns, respectively, and the voltage of the primary coil and the secondary coil Vp and Vs, respectively. and A transformer turns ratio is the division of the number of turns in the primary winding by the number of turns in the secondary winding by the equation TR = Np/Ns. This ratio should also equal the voltage of the primary winding divided by the voltage of the secondary winding, as given by Vp/Vs.

@@untitledblack7075 well same as i said thats works for all of the transformers generally but if you will be more specific which type of transformer will it be and chopper circuits are good for low power stuff like 0.5-1amp max at 220v i assume you want it for solar panels?

@@untitledblack7075well to put it as easy i can the amperage that the transformer will be able to provide is dependent on the secondary wires thickness i havent look forward into it all i can say is that basically thicker the secondary winding more the current thats all i can say i was trying to learn about it but same i couldnt find any source about it.

This is a transformer with central tap. It has 5 turns per coil in the secondary and 90 turns in the primary. Typical in basic inverters.
