I bought this about a month ago from Sam's Fitness is Sydney Australia. In my opinion it's the best on the market. The ease of transitioning between exercises with the quck adjust cable and seat cannot be overstated! Super smooth, stable, and built like a swiss army tank!

Oooosh, I'm currently in the market for a lat pulldown and row but the price is a bit out of budget. Is there something else you could recommend? I've been looking at the ATX plate loaded or a few of the other cheaper brands. I prefer a better built plate loaded than a pin loaded.

@@trickstar74 Oooh thanks yeah I'll give that a look. Very reasonable 😭 all my money is going to gym and home improvements. Is there any other equipment that jumps out at you? I really just mainly do barbell training but our home gym is expanding so I'm looking at other equipment. A nordic is on my shopping list but would you add a functional trainer or all-in-one? I thought the Force USA G3 looked like good value. It's all the same to me I really just want a machine to do biceps and triceps work.

Awesome review, bro! I love that it has some features that I’ve not seen on any other lat pull-down/low row. The moveable seat for doing low rows from an elevated position is also a nice touch for a home gym piece.

Awesome review mate. I have their pervious version of the lat pulldown with 155kg stack and love it, but it looks like they made significant updates. Hopefully the contiue to work with the US gym review channels as their don't seem to be any big UK review channels, hence they are kind of a sleeper brand despite their fantastic quality. Great Video.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I love their equipment and will happily make more videos (if I get more of their equipment) I also brought home their belt squat so keep an eye out for that video soon!

So envious, man! What a beautiful piece of equipment. I was going to try to get one of these from HGC next year, but ended up just getting a used BOS lat row with the stack. I have an older commercial grade lat row in my garage as it was too tall for the basement, so the BOS one is short enough to fit down there and makes more sense. I have the BOS Utility Hooks on the front upright for attachment storage and those should work on this piece as well, if you haven't seen those already. Cool review!

It's hard for people to understand the pricing until they try it. I was blown away at HGC. Once you use their stuff, you completely see the value and why it's priced the way it is.
@KaizenDIYGym6 ай бұрын
Exactly! Seeing the stuff on video doesn’t quite do it justice.

ATX stuff always looks so polished whenever I come across it. Even their freakin post landmine. Exciting, but I’m guessing they’ll be way out of my price range when they come stateside 😂
@andersbjrnsen72034 ай бұрын
Not sure about that. Comparing ATX prices here in Norway to say REP in the US ATX looks pretty competitive.

If you're going to make a tutorial for how to make the tricep rope, it would be awesome to pair that up with how to make cable handles with a knurled handle.

@andersbjrnsen72034 ай бұрын
No, Ive had it for a year and wouldnt even consider trying. But you can do a kind of bent over cable row. The high row though is a great move, I do it more sitting upright than in the vid and it makes up for the low row staring point being too low.

Seems to me that ATX is gonna be like having a 2nd Rogue in America. High quality, great fit and finish, and prices that only rich people will pay. Great lat tower but over $4,200 to your door, not for the working man. Too many other great options for far less. I'll admit it blows Rogue's lat tower out of the water but seriously, can you imagine what a home gym owner could get with $4,200. Honestly Kyle, would you pay full price for it, be honest???

I ain't sitting on the ground to do low rows or any other exercise. I'm still shocked that High End companies make equipment where the user is supposed to sit their fanny on the ground to perform an exercise. I would definitely wait on this piece instead of going with REP's or Rogue's offerings for the above mentioned reason. I am disappointed in the Adonis, REP usually gets equipment right because they really listen to customers and feedback so I figured their lat tower & low row would've been the best one yet but they made it for people to sit on the ground to do low rows. WHY, WHY REP makes the Ares II so people don't sit on the floor but their stand alone lat tower & low row they make forcing people on the ground. WHY, WHY REP to me is like the Genius who is smarter than everybody else but in other ways he is the dumbest guy around. They get 3 or 4 things almost perfect then they do something stupid. I don't understand them

3400 is ridiculous! Somone needs to make this equal or slightly less quality for 1300-1600 bucks and under 90inches in height
@KaizenDIYGym17 күн бұрын
There are plenty of other brands that sell lower cost / lower quality options for Lat Low Row Towers. This is a premium option.
@Arkadiosjiujitsu17 күн бұрын
@ ya I’ve been looking for only a week and this is the only one I’ve seen that you don’t have to sit on the floor. I have the same PRX as you do but I’m 270 lbs and when I do pull ups on the bar the drywall buckles just slightly I’m afraid to use it. My 10 yr old daughter is afraid but I tell her if I can hang on it you should be able to do pull-ups. So that’s kind why I’m looking for. Stand alone machine with low row.
@bobbyhunt30096 ай бұрын
High rows will absolutely blister the mid & lower traps. You want to use the G pin though with your extenders so you can finish the rep with your elbows as close to your body as you can get them. Put on the stack what you can do 8-12 reps. 1-2 count on the concentric and a 3-4 count on the eccentric staying under control throughout every rep. 3-4 sets every 3-5 days, going up in weight or reps each workout if you can. In 6 months you will think you are Dorian Yates. You won't be able to lay flat on your bed because your traps will stick out so far.
