He was great on the show. Some of the funniest lines! Good actor...didn't realize he is autistic (not that it matters).

nat on2 Well it kinda does it makes it better in a way, maybe someone without autism could not act in that way to the same standards
@dammitjim91317 жыл бұрын
Jack Callister... Sorry, what I meant was that he's a good actor regardless. I don't think he was handed the role simply because he is autistic. That being said, I agree with you that it makes it better in a way...but on many levels, and not just on the acting, IMO, if that makes sense.
@aspiretospidey7 жыл бұрын
nat on2 Don't be sorry I just think that people are a little too afraid to be called insensitive and disrespectful. I agree that he probably wasn't given the role just because of his autism. I'm autistic, high functioning yet it still affects. Take it from me I don't think anyone needs to be worried about being offensive, one of the biggest parts of accepting people differences is not being scared to talk with them or about them like you would anyone else, yet still taking account of their differences. Actually in a more accepting society labels and diagnosis would not be necessary, just ultimate respect and understanding if you are being so particular as to not be offensive, trust me that's too much effort.

Hi Jocelyn this is Anthony. Thank you for supporting me, and my show, and also helping me take steps into getting what I always wanted. I know you cared deeply for me. I think you do an amazing job assisting people. especially people with special needs. I hope I do see you again sometime in the future.

I know this is an old post, but with a brother on the spectrum this show had meant so much to us. Now knowing that anthony is on the spectrum and achieved his dream makes the show mean so much more. My brother is on the lower end of the asperger spectrum and struggled with socializing. He would draw in class (making whole comic books) and would make eraser people which would sometime get him in trouble. The school he used to be in during kindergarten had a horrible teacher who directly told my mom that "he is retarded" end quote. But even with such hate filled words he tested two grades above his learning curve. We transferred him to a new school and the made an ISP and worked with him for 5 years. He now has an amazing group of friends and is an aspiring pianist (and a good one too). I'm so proud of what he overcame, and this show holds a special place In all our hearts. Best of luck for an amazing career, you have mezmarized us all with you personality and talent.

I really like the fact that people who are actually on the spectrum get chances to act in this show. Amazing

I think Kristen Stewart might be an undetermined undiagnosed autistic woman, I watched the Robin Rashid video and she said, This role was created for Anthony. I feel like he’s like me, uses a lot more interjection than words. Looks a bit like me too

I love this kid. Anthony has grit and will not let anything stand in his way. Autism will NOT deter my life in any way shape or form. Anthony is an inspiration to us all. Anthony has the insight that acting de-stresses him. My hat is off to the kid and I truly am inspired by him. God bless you Anthony for showing us as a society to take what God have given us and go for it. KUDOS.

He doesn't seem nervous to me at all but having cameras on you is super nerve wracking so even if he was nervous, laughing at someone for having a completely basic reaction to something is odd. Also yes I know I am commenting on a 3 year old comment but your comment is so odd to me.
