The worst thing to happen to her was that viral superkick video. Once that blew up, she started feeling herself too much and started thinking she was hot stuff. She genuinely thinks she’s AEW’s Earl Hebner. Had that not happened, she’d have likely tried to continue improving herself.

She shouldn't be teaching anyone how to referee when she tries to put the focus on herself in matches. If you are noticing the referee then they are doing their job wrong. They should be there for the most part to feed information to the people in the ring like if a TV and break is coming up, if someone is ready to come out for their spot or when it's time to wrap up the match because of the time. The only other times you should be noticing the referee are when they are arguing with someone of not counting to 3, when they are being distracted or when they take a bump. Not because they act like a clown everytime someone does a move.

Angel Hernandez thinks paying $50 to have Aubrey Edwards "train" anyone to be a wrestling referee is a ripoff. And the unfortunate part of Edwards' work is that it undermines other female referees working at the upper levels of the business like Jessika Carr and Daphanie LaShawnn, who are both solid refs in WWE.
