This literally just changed everything for me! Midway through this interview realising I have been subconsciously training for this army most of my life.. It's never a like thunderbolt, it's the sun shining through a gap in the trees onto the water, it's juvenile squirrels chasing each other, it's a kingfisher swooping into the water. Water jet cutting is a thing. I cut half inch steel with light today. Thr beam was guided by intricate patterns etched on a crystal. bent it with oil,(guided by a similar etched crystal) and then moved it across the shop with magnets so it could be finished with compressed air and fine stones. On what Aubrey said about comfort… Either seeking comfort fully or choosing to escape it completely. I call it ‘The Gravity of Feeling’ and it suggest Aubrey’s gravitational centre of ‘comfort’ and it’s opposite were generated close to each other, as two planets might be, and the most intense chaotic energy can be found in between them. Hard to explain but Aubrey’s short example was a great one.

All the words and concepts and mantras mentioned are not something Buddha invented or coined. For example “Buddha called it ‘dukha’… “ Buddha used that Sanskrit word which means approx. sadness, tragedy etc. We Hindus all use these words on a daily basis. Since Hinduism has several schools of thought (including Atheism) and is exploratory in nature (as opposed to prescriptive like Abrahamic religions), Buddha put together several good concepts that already existed in ancient India.

(clear the mind before dopamine tasks to help get the practice to imprint) (meditation or naps after learning also increase results) now inside practice can begin 41:15 inside practice ; the Buddhist precept that suffering is from confusion, the field of awareness being fused with the attentional system 42:11 how we look at each other is who is looking at each other. Field of Full and Peripheral Awareness is 11 million b , attentional system 22 b. 43:01 You are that field. The factory settings of trauma fuse awareness to the attentional system. Attention is at the center of the Self Structure. 44:02 reich and body armor , somatic filter and narrative filter (affective) all based on where the cursor / attentional system points the witness is the deepest ego structure
