It depends really. If I need to remove unwanted frequencies then I'll EQ in solo. If it's to treat masking I'll do in the context of the whole mix

Hello Aubrey, thank you for such valuable content, I have a question regarding the Ollo Audio s5x... Is it true that they don't work very well for stereo mixing? I have that doubt.. thank you

For me, they are brilliant for mixing. And I do the majority of mixing in stereo. So I highly recommend them for stereo mixing!
