To Cole's point about "talent being down" I agree. This time last year everyone thought the CB talent was weak in the 25 class and might take 1 or 2. Then we signed Woodby Starr and Williams. Lost Arnoux and Core. And missed on Offord. So there were 6 high end guys that were takes who had a lot of interest in AU. I don't think anyone would consider that group weak.

I want Landon Duckworth at QB but I really want the big 3 from Maryland plus Tank, CD, Vodney Cleveland, and Bryce Perry Wright would be my top 10 right now (Obviously Atkinson and Davis are crucial as well to make a top 12) Trent Henderson, Broadneaux, Crowell, and the 3 star OL from GA we like would make a great class plus the 6 we have

Ok, explain the "big back" stats to me like I'm 5 years old. Alston is 5'9" and 209 lbs. Crowell is 5'11" and 200 lbs. Even if he gets to 210 lbs., how is he bigger than the more compact Alston at the same weight? I'm not following. Here's my take on Hugh staying or going. His recruiting class has to be ranked higher than the number of wins he has. So 6 wins, he needs a top 5 class, etc.

I hear others wanting to not bring in or go after a top notice QB. In my opinion we need go after a top QB every year. I would rather them leave then not come. Don’t want to waste the time going after them What’s y’all’s opinion

I can see where the best use of resources might be not to spend on a qb every year. This year being a prime example. In no way am I saying JA is 100% the guy with no questions, but with a 5 star right behind him and a lack of star power on the OL, I can get behind dropping the bag for an OT instead of a QB this year
