Auburn students sing God Bless America, the National Anthem at 2019 Kent State game

Two things: 1) this made this ole veteran's heart swell and eyes leak. Thank you for your patriotism! And 2) I appreciate the Auburn public voice announcer reminding Veteran's that they may render a military salute to the Colors. It takes a bit for some of us to get used to doing that out of uniform and that reminder helps. For too long, it wasn't protocol and actually not allowed. I'm glad that archaic rule has changed. Of all people, they/we have earned that right to show our undying support for our flag.
