as a child i spent many a summer in auchmithie with a old couple named ina and jim jamieson they lived in no 47 , how i wish i could turn the clock back as they were very special years in my grown up time . i remember the swankies who owned the one of 2 shop in the village and also thye man in the wheelchair who fell of the cliff as i said i spent many a good summer there where we used to go and pick rasperiees and strawberries for pocket money . i am going back to the late 50s early 60s so if anyone can remember please give me a call on skype 5101

My grandparents stayed up at the farm on the corner before the long walk down to the village about the times you mentioned. Did you know the name Ross or Jaffrey they stayed in the 2 houses down from the AnnieGilruth hall . Another memory is the youth hostel before it became a hotel.
