Look what followed me home from an Industrial auction ....
Eisele VMS II PV300 semi automatic metal chop saw, a brief check shows no major faults, mainly wear and pneumatic issues, more to come on this.
The PipeHawk was a bit of a challenge, multiple faults, but basic functionality is already restored, more to come on that soon as well.

I love going through a mystery box of random stuff, and I love watching others do it too. I've never seen a saw like that. If you get the GPR going you can have a side hustle finding pipes for people.

Hope you well,..yes, these boxes were a real surprise, bought the lot blind and did not really expect anything useful in it. The saw is basically a normal chop saw where the blade moves up and down with an air-hydraulic system, simply instead of a manual pull down. Re GPR,...got it basically working, just ordered some parts to get it properly fixed, ... there might be a business opportunity, you could be right

Mike, you definitely need a bigger shop now...lol.. it was hard to hear what the panel business is all about.. the one in the manila colored sleeve and the little gizmos that are in the box with it. curious now to see that ground penetrating radar in action...

Hi Mike,....you're absolutely right, but if you look at the background at around 0:36, you'll see a few pallets with bricks on it ...:-) The panels are nothing important, just some power sockets, finished in brushed stainless and not exactly cheap. Just editing the first part of the radar repair, apparently the manufacturer suffered from dismantling paranoia, quite a tricky design, certainly not exactly obvious how the get it apart. Already got it basically working, just waiting for an encoder with the correct spec. If you ever come across an Eisele VMS-II PV300 manual, i would highly appreciate a copy as this would save me reverse engineering the (typical German over engineered) hydro-pneumatic system. Got a few leaking/sticking valves and some play here and there but the thing basically works. ... Oh, and that electrics wizzard, was in it, as usual
