Hate to "uhm akshually" you but ADHD would be terrible for this job. You need to remember and repeat quickly shifting numbers in the short term and you have to not stutter (people with ADHD have a greater chance of developing a stutter). This is a little bit of talent with a whole lot of practice.

@fluidthought422 жыл бұрын
@@drun_do_kun I have ADHD too, but I will remind you that while the distance between mind and mouth is somewhat shortened by ADHD that can work to our disadvantage from time to time. For me personally it was not only a stuttering but also cluttering of my speech and of course the need to talk aloud to myself in order to organize my thoughts better. The latter tendency was especially reduced by medication.
@fluidthought422 жыл бұрын
@@ghmj2607 Yes, I have ADHD. Yes, ADHD has a range of expressions. Yes, I was being pedantic as fuck. But as someone with ADHD (primarily inattentive, btw) who has to work with numbers all day, ADHD is definitely a disadvantage towards retaining those numbers in short term memory. When on medication the recalling of numbers is far more effortless than without. And considering that the most common expressions of ADHD does include impairment of short term memory... BTW, if you hear "greater chance of developing a stutter" (which I did develop) and equate that being "retarded", that's a you problem. It's not even an exaggeration, lots of things you wouldn't primarily think as being associated with ADHD correlate with having it, from chances of having allergies to developing unhealthy sleeping schedules.
